There was a time when the idea of taking your kids into the city to have fun would have been fairly unusual. I'm happy to say these days there are so many family fun activities organized, especially during the school holidays, that it's too easy to jump on the train and head into the city. Despite attractions in Elizabeth Quay and Yagan Square it's good to see that youngsters still enjoy getting wet while hatching plans, below, in the water labyrinth in Forrest Place.. simple pleasures that don't cost a cent while at the same time mum and dad can enjoy a coffee ringside in Bocelli's Espresso. That's where we were.. the two young boys above acting too cool for school :) Happy Sunday, take care and stay safe..
A good way to beat the heat.
ReplyDeleteKids love playing in the water. Hope someone brought a towel, or they went home wet. Lovely photos.
ReplyDeletelooking at your photos I had a chill, then I remembered that you have summer !
ReplyDeleteThere are a few of those water features in our English towns, though the weather does not often co-operate. The kids don't care.
