Sunday seduction.....!

Without a doubt no one mixes a more sublime colour palette than Mother Nature! This beauty is the first of my roses to bloom for the new season and she lives up to her name absolutely! The subtle changing of colour from deeper pink around the edges fading to a creamy white as she ages 'gracefully' :) along with her delicate perfume totally belie the hardy nature of the Seduction rose which flowers profusely over a long period.. fabulous! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend, I'm off to a 'festival français' today, looking forward to eating a crepe or two.. take care.....

  8. Oh, yes. Seductive! If the blush of color doesn't get you, the scent will. If the scent doesn't get you, the form will. I'm feeling a little warm . . .

  9. I have never seen one like that, it is a nice variety. We have some wild ones here that have small simple blooms that really smell good but nothing like the seductive.

  25. A Rose
    Made of perfect petals,
    Each one moulded softly.
    From a bud exquisite,
    It blooms to velvet beauty.
    Softly coloured from peace white,
    To reds, apricots and golds…
Only a few of the many shades
    Found in the lovely folds
Of one, more than just an earthly flower
But surely a gift from heavenly bowers.
A gift of love, of peace that grows
Within the depths of beauty ~ a rose.
