Will it be coffee in one of the cafe's looking out over the Swan River with the WA Rowing Club boathouse and Riverside Drive in the background....what about a 'segway tour', looks like fun and maybe you don't even have to have a sense of balance or a driving license :)
A leisurely cruise along the river to the Swan Valley on the Lady de Vine might be your thing... I didn't realize until I started taking photos just how many excellent venues there are at the Barrack Street Jetty, apparently all happy and working with developers of Elizabeth Quay next door..sounds good on paper! Wonder what the view looking back to the city (below) will look like in 2000 and whenever :)) Happy beginning of the week, take care....p.s. my 'fancy' was the first choice! The November 1 theme for City Daily Photo bloggers is "Heights."
Nice place to drink a espresso ......you have there a good view over the lake.
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Joop
Ah, yes! I could definitely enjoy sitting there with coffee or a drink of some kind enjoying the view! I always love being near the water! Terrific captures for the day as always and a great way to start my day!!
ReplyDeleteSo many ways to spend free time, I would do everything :)
ReplyDeleteHave a good week, Grace!
The leisurely cruise sounds good!
ReplyDeleteCount me for the cruise!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a pleasant day there!
ReplyDeleteI´d go for the first one, Grace! Segway-tours are offered here, too, and I even saw a man in his 80´s using one. But, ewww, no. And heights? Not my thing! Water... hmmm, maybe, let´s see - soon! :-)
ReplyDeleteOnce again I'm amazed at all the amenities and beautiful vistas your city provides. You're very fortunate!
ReplyDeleteI'll come board the lady DIvine with you!
ReplyDeleteI think I'll take the cruise while the view is good! ;-)
ReplyDeletedefinitely the first one ... while I think on the cruise!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you will never get bored around your town.
ReplyDeleteThe skyline of the last photo is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd join you for that cup of coffee Grace!!! And t h e n head for a river tour!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a sky line that is! I love it.
ReplyDeleteI think Segways can only be used on private land here. Yours seem to have a driver taking a tourist. They can be quite dangerous. I think I would prefer a cruise on the Lady de Vine.
ReplyDeleteThen we are in agreement. Pull up a chair under one of those bright red happy umbrellas and I will order the coffees.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind a cruise or a nice spot of caffeine in the beautiful setting - ahhh, just what the doctor ordered! Can I get my doc to write a prescription for a vacation, I wonder:)
ReplyDeleteI would love to try the Segway.
ReplyDeletesplendid tableaux in that last shot of 21st century towers and apparantly thriving nature! Speaks wonderfully of your home, mon ami
ReplyDeleteALOHA from Honolulu
Comfort Spiral
=^..^=
A segway tour Grace. Now that would be fun. Gee that as an eclectic mix of architecture in your last photo. Not too sure about the green spire. It looks like something from the Jetsons. I wonder how many of your readers remember the Jetsons.
ReplyDeleteI'll take the cruise, thanks!
ReplyDeleteHa, ha, I could have imagined you went to the cafe and watch over the water. No segways for me too.
ReplyDeleteThe top shot does it for me big time, Grace. Love going out for coffee. I agree that Perth looks so neat even on a dull day.
ReplyDeleteCoffee it is.
ReplyDeleteAlthough the scenery in all of them is fantastic, I'm going to opt for having a cup of coffee and gazing at the Swan River. Great photos Grace!
ReplyDeleteOh girl, what a beautiful place to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and after this lovely moment, enjoy some walk around it taking lots of picture! Phew...dreaming here!
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures!
