Described as 'jumping in joy and ready to return to the ocean' I've always loved the sculpture of
Rajah, Mila and Echo. The dolphins were adored by countless thousands of Australians and overseas visitors to
Hillary's Boat Harbour, many who experienced the thrill of swimming with these wonderful creatures. I remember the shock when they died mysteriously in 1999 and I'm not sure if they were ever 100% certain why this tragedy occurred, I found
this report which is one explanation. Even after all these years some visitors still leave flowers as a token of fond memories. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, would you like to see some shots of the finished kitchen on Monday? Take care and stay safe...For more reflections visit James's

ReplyDeleteI really like the one at the head of the bed! I bought some ferns on
sale ($3.99 a piece!) at an end of summer sale. I know they don't
have a chance of surviving through the winter (I, too, kill
everything) but I have lofty dreams of them flourishing in my
reading window.
I read about the report given in your link to fully understand the image...well, what a wonderful tribute to these lovely creatures!!
