Spot the redhead.....!

It's still a little chilly first thing in the morning and evening here in Perth, but if you 'rug up' it's perfect for a walk around Hillary's Boat Harbour, about five minutes from home. The above view (pesky lamp lights don't make it easy) is looking across from the boat slips to The Breakwater and the Bascule bridge on the boardwalk. Continuing around, another view through the 'Wind Rose' that I showed you here, reading your comments from that post made me smile :) Middle of the working week already..s'crazy! Take care, and stay safe.....

If I take a walk in the evening, I do not take a tripod with me ... ohh!

  6. Five minutes from home, oh, Grace, lucky you :-)
I really look so much forward seeing, hearing and smelling the sea. Great pics.
I dread the journey, but I can´t wait to see the result!

  7. Hellooo! This has little to do with your post subject matter other than I was interested to learn more about the Bascule Bridge so I hit the link. Little did I know the meaning of the word "bascule": a draw bridge or small bridge. I grew up on a street named Bascule Avenue and never knew where it came from or what it meant. Thanks!

  13. Very nice night shot, Grace. From this angle the rose looks like a ships sail.

Even with the light, the second one also came out well.

  17. Great shots Grace! We have arrived in Perth and I have been having great fun exploring all the wonderful places for photos! Although my blogging is so behind due to all the travel, etc. I'm still blogging about the other side of Australia and that time was over a month ago. Anywho, we are in a little apartment across from UWA. Can you and I meet up for a cup of coffee/lunch one day? (Within biking range if possible) We leave next Sat, Nov 2. Today we're crewing with some folks in the Royal Perth Yacht Club Wed. races! Woot! Woot!
