First impression..

Sitting in the cafe at Perth City Farm last week enjoying lunch and looking over to the murals painted on the wall of The Barn my first impression of the mural above was that of a flamboyant cockerel.. on closer inspection I can still see it but not with the same conviction :) what did you think at first glance? However interpreted it is a beautifully executed vibrant piece of art. Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe..

  1. It's quite vibrant Grace. I thought it was some sort of native animal but can't figure out what.

  3. And a new word learned, Grace, "cockerel" 😁 🐓
No idea, but if it was one it has some mighty muscular arms, like in the book I´m reading at the moment (bio on the cute Klitschko-Brothers).
Either way it´s a very beautiful, vibrant mural!

  5. The way its body coils around it looks like a colorful dragon to me.

  6. It is definitely vibrant and beautiful. First glance I thought it was some kind of flowers with the animal crawling underneath it.

  13. Its some kind of weird badger hiding under a huge flower that only blooms once every 75 years. I'm right aren't i?

  14. For me it looks like a kind of fantasy animal under an etherial flower but the colors are indeed stunning.

  18. I'm going to go way out there and say, Mama needs a break, and a little alone time! But that's after thinking about it a moment, because initially wow what a burst of color!
