Spotted a glimpse ahead, last shot, of the gorgeous mural here as we were walking along Murray Street in the city. The mural titled 'Coffee Goddess' was commissioned by One 60 Cafe and painted back in October last year by WA muralist and portrait artist Susan Respinger. The brief was 'a mural relating to coffee or the coffee plant with a creative twist so I created a coffee goddess character with a coffee plant for hair which flows down the entire length of the cafe'. She is a beauty and the coffee is excellent also :) Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe..

ReplyDeleteCoffee cherries and blossoms in her hair I like it! Our first Hawaii home was on Kona coffee land. We used to drive up through the trees everyday to our shack. I got to see them go through every seasonal phase from the bear branches, to the white flowers to the succulent red cherries containing the coffee beans, to the Japanese families with their straw hats and wicker baskets to pick the Kona coffee beans. Famous around the world.
