'The skeletons are out tonight, they march about the street,
With bony bodies, bony heads and bony hands and feet.
Bony bony bony bones with nothing in between,
Up and down and all around they march on Halloween'

Cue the creepy music.. can you believe this is the one and only Halloween themed photo I've taken :) I don't think Halloween is as big a deal here in Australia as it is elsewhere, but to be on the safe side I will be picking up a couple of bags of lollies before tonight.. don't want to go annoying any little monsters that come a'knocking on my door 👻 Happy Halloween, take care and stay safe
Oh nooo, no way !

ReplyDeleteHalloween is a big deal in my small town. Terrible weather is forecasted for tomorrow night. We shall see how it goes.
ReplyDeleteMy Ex always shows up this time of year; even in Australia.
ReplyDeleteOur grandchildren are so excited for Hallowe’en. It is a big deal to them for sure.

Boo!
ReplyDeleteI've taken a bunch of Hallowe'en shots for my post tomorrow, and I've been putting some extra ones at Facebook.
Very cute!:-) 🎃👻
ReplyDeleteI like it in the black and white!
ReplyDeleteEvery other yard here seems to have those big inflatable decorations....do you have much of those there?
It is a big thing here but it is supposed to rain so the kiddies will have to wear raincoats!
ReplyDeletethis is Halloween.. Halloween.... :) ew
ReplyDeleteBest to be ready, yes, lol
ReplyDeleteI'm scared, I really am! :)
ReplyDelete...boney is popular now!!!
ReplyDeleteJe n'aime pas cette fête, elle me fait peur :)
ReplyDeleteClever to take the photo in black and white. Plenty of Halloween photos coming through from your blogmate in Toronto.
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween. Glad to note that you have armed yourself for safety!
ReplyDeleteYou took a shot worth taking. It seems as if Halloween decorations have gotten bigger here each year, though there are fewer children knocking on random doors. There are more organized parties and they'll visit door-to-door at local merchants.
ReplyDeleteoh very cool photo! Here in NZ it's not really that popular either, I think it's more common in the USA to dress up.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed Halloween.
ReplyDeleteNice pic... yesterday I saw a line of young people waitin to buy halloween disguises. I remember the time it didn't even exist in Europe (except Britain maybe). I think it began here at the end of the nineties...
ReplyDeleteScary. Happy Halloween.
ReplyDeleteFunny scary, Grace :-)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with trick or treat - Ingo tried a couple of times but it was one kid only so... we´re off this year.
And there must be Halloween in Australia, too. It seems to be more widely celebrated that I ever knew. Did you trick or treat as a child?

ReplyDeleteIt is not a big thing here either, but commerce is pushing and pushing.....not for me, I am to old for this stuff...
ReplyDeleteI really don't care for Halloween, but I know there are a few houses in my neighbourhood that are decked out for it and I suppose that is where the kids will go.
