Discovered the mural here when we were in Inglewood last week. Painted back in November 2017 by Welsh born Perth artist/illustrator/muralist Robert Jenkins aka 'The Black Mountains Art.' You might remember the minty blue and white mural here. The trademark little blue men are usually there to give him a helping hand, if you look closely below they are linking together to make up the artist's home suburb of Inglewood.. the purple and green reflecting the many jacaranda trees that bloom here. Looking at the big picture that's quite an endeavour 💜 Hope you had/are still having a fab weekend, take care and stay safe..
...they needed more help than that little blue fellow.

This is absolutely adorable. I've seen a few of these little blue men that were shown by other bloggers, but I never connected them to anything before. Now I know a bit about their history, it makes it even more fun when I see murals with them in it. BTW, this is an absolutely incredible mural. It must have taken forever to create, even with the help of the little blue man!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, there he is again, Grace :-)
