No I'm not being critical of the super mural here by artist unknown :) it's just that this is a splendid fairy wren as opposed to a superb fairy wren. I didn't realize how many different species of fairy wrens there are, have a look here to see the astounding colours of the different types of these wee beauties. Meanwhile I spotted the gorgeous mural here last week when we were in Mount Hawthorn.. wish I could credit the artist. Happy Monday, take care and stay safe..
All of the wrens I've ever seen here are mostly brown. Had the artist chosen different background colors the wren would have stood out more. Maybe the wren is not to stand out more.
