That's probably 'tenth floor coming down' makes more sense due to drippage I guess :) I posted the fabulous twenty five storey art work here by Melbourne based artist Matt Adnate a few weeks ago.. today it's all about the obviously not afraid of heights window cleaners. I know they are all safety-roped up etc. but on a windy day it must be dodgy way up there! First there were two until I downloaded and saw the legs dangling top of next shot to the left, another clue that they must be on the way down, two work faster than one right! Apart from that it was a dull day when I showed this mural before, looks gorgeous surrounded by blue sky don't you think.. can you see all three in last shot? Happy weekend, take care and stay safe..
...what a way to earn a living!
ReplyDeleteTom took the words out of my mouth. I bet robots will be doing that job in few years. Anyway, very nice shots!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots where the human figures emphasise the huge scale of both the buildings and the mural. I can't help but wonder why it's necessary to build such tall buildings in a place like Perth - surely you're not short of space.
ReplyDeleteNot a job I could do! I love that huge mural. In the first shot, you have no idea of the scale, but that's added by the following shots. Well done!
ReplyDeleteFotos fantásticas e aproveito para desejar um bom fim-de-semana.

ReplyDeleteWow!
ReplyDeleteJust a gorgeous mural. Those people are all nerve!
ReplyDeleteLove Those Lips - Excellent Shots There Perth

Imagine the first time these people go up to do that window washing! Wow!
ReplyDeleteI thought that was you on the left in the top photo, Grace, and got all hot and bothered!
ReplyDeleteTall building window cleaners are brave but not not stupid and tend not to work when it is windy.
ReplyDeleteI don't even like cleaning my own windows, and I certainly would not like to do that job! But I admire the chaps who are brave enough to do it and I hope that they are paid well.
ReplyDeleteI liked sliding tall buildings in the fire department, and climbing towers, but those window washers can have that job.
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed at that huge mural.
It's sort of a thankless job, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThat is so NOT a job I could do. However, I agree about the building and mural looking sort of "wow" in the sunshine!
ReplyDeleteAmazing captures of the window cleaners and the fabulous mural.
ReplyDeleteThese guys are so brave. Not my type of job at all. The mural artist would have had to do some high rise work too.
ReplyDeleteThe window cleaners gives a perfect scale to the total.
ReplyDeleteVery brave people those who do those jobs, I just couldn't. Great photos that show well the scale of that mural.
ReplyDeleteThese are great shots. Beautiful mural!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice images on that wall of the building. Really fantastic.
Respect for these window cleaners at that height.
They look like acrobats.
Greetings, Marco
The mural is beautiful and the people are brave. Wouldn't see me up there. :)
