Lady in the black top hat..

We arrived home in time for one of our, and by our I mean mine and Aimee's, definitely not P's :) favourite markets, the Polka Dot Vintage Market. Combining vintage, hand made and antiques it is a veritable treasure trove, mainly of sights for moi due to the minimalist thing, but it certainly is fascinating looking. I had no idea at the time that the theme for CDP'ers was black but how fortuitous that the lady in the black top hat and coat, first spotted below, turned and gave me a gorgeous smile. I think she looks super cool, love the jaunty feather in her top hat 😎 Looking forward to seeing more interpretations of the theme, happy Thursday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. there was something I couldn't resist, would you like to see it?

  2. The lady looks great the way she's dressed. Some people have just the right knack for combining simple things to look great. (I'm not one of them. I wear jeans and T-shirts)

  3. Great way to feature black. At one point I was looking for someone in "a little black dress" but one never turned up. The hat the scarf and the glasses all add pizzazz.

PS, I always remove foreign language comments if I can't figure out what they are promoting.

  10. I love that look - very Stevie Nicks unfortunately I"m not tall like she is, it wouldn't look the same on my short body.

  13. Yes! Do share what came home with you!
You found a perfect subject for today's theme. I'm sometimes envious of people who can pull off an outfit like that.

  17. I admire people who are prepared to "dress up" like that. I am too scared to do that type of thing, even for a fancy dress party.
