Blue banded bee..

Thanks to a tip from my sister, last week when we were in East Perth I kept a lookout for the blue banded bee, a new mural painted by the super talented Kambarni, Indigenous artist/illustrator extraordinaire! You can see more of his incredibly detailed work here, so worth a look. Retelling the stories of the past Kambarni uses his art 'as a way to express himself and bring stories of his people alive, telling stories of his descendants and highlighting the richness of Aboriginal culture'. It was after noon when I took these shots, the shadow of a winter street tree falling over the art I think added to the image, what do you think? Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe..

  10. Great find, Grace! Also the link ... beautiful art.
The winter-addition, though... no "like" from here ;-) I dread the dark half already!

  11. Indeed a lot of aboriginal style in this work. Not strange when the artist is an aboriginal himself but it shines wonderful.

  17. You might have dream of having a largest above ground pool as an additional beauty of you backyard land, but many of you just can’t afford to have it due to lack of space and money. These pools offer the entire benefits of an above ground pool.

They are ideal refreshing pools during hot summer days. Kids will love to splash around in, and adults can carry out their quick exercise or dog activities for fun.
