It's a little hard to believe after the gorgeous long weekend we have just had, these pics taken just a few days ago, that the weather is going to change so dramatically today according to the bureau of meteorology. The downpour will be a welcome relief to the farmers in the South West after experiencing the driest January to May and seventh driest
autumn on record. Today 21C rain, Friday 17C rain, Saturday 17C showers, Sunday 16C showers, Monday 15C showers easing, Tuesday 16C partly cloudy. Six days of winter.. it's a start! There is no reason for the shot below other than I like the colours :) Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. Looking forward to getting some rainy day reflection shots.
Wonderful shots!
ReplyDelete...that first image is pure magic!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Grace. Beach reminds me of Florida. Ocean water is not that nice in Florida; it's green and murky looking.
ReplyDeleteSchön die Bilder vom Meer und vom Strand.

The beach looks so inviting. Those temperatures here would be welcome now. It is cold today, cap and mitts weather walking this morning.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue, Grace! It is raining here.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly have had some nice autumn weather, which hasn't appeared here. I hope you receive lots of rain.
ReplyDeleteEt chez nous c'est l'été qui arrive :) Belles photos !
ReplyDeleteNice photos and catchy title, G!
ReplyDeleteI like both of these shots. I hope you get all the forecast rain, and all that's needed. We've even had a dry winter here and our state can be notoriously wet. We're heading into summer and already have a bad wildfire (far) east of us.
ReplyDeleteIt been pretty nice here although a little haze from some fires.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
Amazing
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, those colors, Grace! Beautiful! The ocean!
ReplyDeleteWe had our first bbq yesterday in over 30C! Today down to 23C max, in the South of Germany woods are burning due to the dry heat over there. It´s a crazy weather.
Gorgeous photos. Today 18 sunny periods, Friday 18 rain, Saturday 17 sunny periods, Sunday 18 showers, Monday 16 showers, Tuesday 15 cloudy. Six days of summer...it's England!
ReplyDeleteUma praia magnifica.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de uma boa semana.

Nice portrait in that second photo.
ReplyDeleteWe both have changed seasons, two opposites again! I think we have the better change at the moment, although there were some heavy storms last night. Nice photo of the two hairy ladies.
ReplyDeleteThose colors are so brilliant. The other day I heard Perth referred to as "the world's most remote city." Fortunately, you bring it front row/center for us! Love your photos.

You've had a dry season and our famers in the Midwest are experiencing the wettest spring they've ever had. Many farms are under water and they think they will miss the planting season because of it. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that the climate is changing.
ReplyDeleteI have been reading abot the weather in your direction it actually sound pretty chilly in the East! Have a good day, Diane.
ReplyDeleteYour title made me laugh. Definitely not a winter is coming photo you would expect to see. :) Lovely photos, Grace.
ReplyDeletewe here the weather is inconsistent. It was 30° last Sunday, and now it is 15° for 3 days, with heavy rains. But here, it seems it is spring... Your pictures are very beautiful, and I understand that you are looking forward to the rain.
ReplyDeleteThe First Shot I love!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful sea!
If only winter shone like this always.
