Giddy with delight..

Aye aye what do I spy! Walking down the main street in beautiful Beverley, seen a few days ago here, I spotted a large chook, can you see it there on the other side of the road, and immediately recognised the familiar style of South African born living in Perth artist James Giddy. From then on it was a surprise around every corner.. good on you Beverley! The artist is 'inspired by the natural environment and the French motif of en plein air painting, revolving his practice around themes concerning the unknown as well as environmental conservation, drawing inspiration from subjects encountered on his journeys'. There is more of his work throughout rural WA, I will be keeping my eyes open on our next road trip. Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe..

  4. If you're going to paint out of doors then WA seems to be the ideal place to do it. Maybe that's why there aren't so many murals in England. :)
