Can you see.. behind the modern yacht masts above the more romantic masts of the replica tall ship the Duyfken moored at AQWA. I met my SIL's for lunch yesterday at Hillarys Boat Harbour, five minutes from home. I arrived a bit earlier so that I could stroll along the boardwalk and take some pics, it's been a while. It was a gorgeous autumn day, a little chilly at 23C :) but so nice to be surrounded by my favourite colour blue. I'm always amazed when I download the pics how many shades of blue there are in the sky and the water, j'adore đHope you had a good week, happy Friday, take care and stay safe..
It looks like you've got ideal weather there at the moment. Beautiful shots!

Wow amazing. Loved all pics.
ReplyDeleteAh, yes. I spied the tall ship right off in the first photo. Those ships are amazing. What is more amazing is that people sailed around the world in them. So small compared to modern ships, but still more graceful.
ReplyDeleteThat "chilly" 23 degrees sounds just right for me. I've no idea why, but I'm always happy to wander and take photos where boats are moored.
ReplyDeleteGosh we were just saying how like Honolulu it is! (Nicer though I think...) 22 days. Movers are here. Pixie has been certified an emotional support animal for flight purposes and will ride in the cabin with us..... I'm Riding that bronco!!
ReplyDeleteTotally missed the historic ship before! Another love of mine. And Polynesian voyaging canoes of course ;)
DeleteLove all the photos but the dolphins are my favourite đ Happy Friday, Diane
ReplyDeleteWow, those blues really are intense. You are so lucky to be so close to such gorgeous views.
ReplyDelete...there sure are a lot of blues in the world.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all of that blue too, Grace!
ReplyDeleteI feel blue seeing all that blue. :) Nice photos, Grace.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful blues … lovely photographs.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I smiled at your “a bit chilly at 23C,” Grace.
ReplyDeleteThe blues are incredible.
Now that some big boats.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
Love them all, Grace! So nice to see again. I´d so would go for an ice-cream with licorice! Have only found it there! The third picture even has some green in it. Ahhh... 23C. Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteOh how nice to see the old one just popping behind the new boats.
ReplyDeleteHa a little piece of dutch heritage in Perth.
ReplyDeleteThose little white boats dotting the horizon emphasize even more the intensity of the blue sky and water. So lovely!

I saw the blue ship but not the masts until you mentioned them. You are having warmer weather than us, we have had our first frosts for the season this week ... looks like the unusually warm autumn is over for us at least.
ReplyDeleteLove our blue Autumn skies. Lovely photos Grace.
ReplyDeleteThe Boat Harbour is certainly very photogenic.
ReplyDeleteI see so much! What a beautiful spot no question there. The blues are just my favorite always.
