I took these shots using my semi fish-eye lens.. it's obvious that I need much more practice with it but I kind of loved the blurry soft look to these shots. It's been a super busy few days so it was lovely to sit for a while yesterday in Bocelli's Espresso in Forrest Place, my favourite people watching spot in the city, and enjoy the autumn sunshine, rain, sunshine, rain, sunshine.. if you know what I mean :) Could these images possibly be more different from yesterday's post! Watching people duck-diving for cover between showers from a sheltered spot drinking hot coffee is fun 😉 Happy Sunday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. Big catch up today..
I love the last two photos especially!
ReplyDeleteGet similar effect with my wide aggle lens, though fancy a fish eye sometime
ReplyDeleteLove the soft look of the top two photos. Have a lovely Sunday Grace.
ReplyDeleteI seldom use my fish eye view must try more often!! I generally just change to wild angle lens which is not always the answer. You live in a beautiful place, but not sure, even with the good weather, if I would change it for France 😊
ReplyDeleteHave a great Sunday, Diane
These are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteNice to have a new lens to play with once in a while, you've got some attractive shots using it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun lens to use. I love the softness of the shots. I bet that rain smelled good while you were sitting there.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun lens to take photos with, they are great!
ReplyDeleteThat biker in the rain looks very familiar to me.

ReplyDeletePerth through your lens pictures so much variety.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, Grace, that´s beautiful! It´s May already, we have a saying that April does what it wants, sunshine one minute, rain the next. Goes for you for May it seems. xox
ReplyDeleteOoo that lens is special and the autumn weather looks great too. I particularly like the second shot because it gets everything in without the distortion being very obvious.
ReplyDeleteSpecial effects Grace, great photos!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics, Grace!
ReplyDeleteMy dad has been ill so I haven't been around. Back soon!
Adore those last two shots.
