Seven sweet little ducks with their upside down reflection in Herdsman Lake, close in above and the bigger picture below..
You find out the most amazing things when you blog! I'm not making fun of phobias, believe me I have sooo many, but this one made me laugh out loud, although not a laughing matter to those that have it I'm sure. Anatidaephobia,
the fear that somewhere in the world a duck
or a goose is watching you, not attacking or touching, just
watching. That's almost as ridiculous, apologies to anyone reading this that has this particular phobia, as my fear of bike helmets, not
the wearing of them, that's a necessity, just the look of them.. I know
right, nuts 😉 Happy weekend, take care and stay safe.. P.s. As I clicked the shot below five ducks turned to watch me :) :)
That is a new phobia that I haven't heard of. I myself find Babar the elephant very creepy so we all have our issues.
ReplyDeleteLove all the ducks in a row, Grace!
...get a grap!
ReplyDeleteCute row of ducks. Okay, that is a phobia I have never heard of before. I wonder if anyone who lives in my complex has that phobia. It could be bad for them every year when that parking lot goose returns.
ReplyDeleteI remember that term from The Far Side strip. Cute duckies!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was only cricketers who had a fear of ducks! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a phobia I have never heard of before, who knew. The ducks are all lined up and look cute.
ReplyDeleteI love your last shot. I worked with a woman who'd developed a fear of birds after she'd seen Hitchcock's "The Birds." His movies could do that.
ReplyDeleteI sing a song for the grandkids about five little ducks. Love these photos. I am partial to ducks.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has a fear of butterflies, my husband, of boats.
I like seeing ducks around, some people here when they see them trying to cross a street will stop their cars and wait.
ReplyDeleteI've never really seen ducks in tree branches like that, but why wouldn't they. I understand your fear of bike helmets, but not the fear of being watched by a duck.
ReplyDeleteWhy do I feel like I am in a Alfred Hitchcock movie? ~(‾▿‾)~
ReplyDeleteLovely ducks, Nice clicks.
ReplyDeleteNever seen ducks sitting in branches, but they sure look cute.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend Grace.
Oh! Nice Shots!
ReplyDeleteI present a song to this post...
It is "Heigh-Ho" from Disney`s 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'. :)
Oh, how cute is this, spring is so nice to see all the young ones in nature.
ReplyDeleteLindas e belas fotografias.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e um bom fim-de-semana.

There are some unreasonable fears around, Grace. Glad ducks looking at me is none of mine. Cute pics :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the reflections but the bottom photo is disturbing because the ducks seem to be watching me. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe seven ducks as well as reflections are superb. I hope you have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteLovely reflections and nice that these ducks use branches to sit. Not common here.
ReplyDeleteYour phobias made me chuckle, as did the commenter regarding cricket. Ducks are so photogenic.
ReplyDeleteI love ducks
