The Chapel of St. Michael the Archangel..

Yesterday morning began in a typically spring fashion, cloudy with a touch of rain! Thankfully by midday the clouds had dispersed, even if it was only for a few hours, a few hours is sometimes all you need :) I've seen the The Chapel of St. Michael the Archangel on the hill many times when I've driven through West Leederville, yesterday I had a lovely reason to stop. It's quite difficult to get a clear shot of the church, the surrounding trees have obviously been here as long as the church, will have to Google a wee bit more to find out exactly how long that is, look at the two awesome beauties below!

I'll give you a peek inside and a petit clue as to why I was there..very pretty chapel, more to come :) Hope you are having a fab weekend, happy Sunday, take care and stay safe...

  1. Lovely shots of and the landscape is just as beautiful. I envy you entering spring, especially already hearing reports that we're going to have a hard winter! Yikes!

  8. What a pretty church, Grace. Looks like a wedding is to take place - something to do with you being there?

  9. It's a terrific building and although there are very different parts to it, it is really well balanced.....or is that a photographic skill?

  11. Those men are all dressed up. It must have been someone's wedding, but with no one in the seats, this must have been an afternoon rehearsal? Am I correct?

  18. Great Pacific Cathedral! And Michael is a good one. We have San Rafael nearby with a giant healing green angel on the old Spanish church....
