Better late than never oui :) Despite efforts to ignore birthdays, when you have an extensive family, as I do..a family I love and am grateful for every single day.. birthdays rarely slip by! Yesterday was no exception.. from wine and cake at home in the morning through to pizza and more wine in the evening! Neglected for a while the Brisbane Hotel, built in 1898 as 'the local working man's pub' had an extensive restoration in 2004, blending old with new parfaitement! Apart from the delizioso pizza, two languages down :), there was another reason we were there. I'll give you a hint..Frankie's fistful of Wednesdays, more about that tomorrow! Can you tell from the light on the Brisbane that it was a warm 32C yesterday, our first taste of summer this year, thank heavens back to cooler today, I'm not ready yet!! Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe...p.s. could you call the Brisbane a 'flatiron' building?
I just got home from having a Pizza dinner with my friends Julie and Dave. I can relate well to that yummy picture. Yes, I'd call that a flat iron building! Looks like you had a busy day!

Congratulations with your birthday, that is nothing to be ashamed of is it? Getting older is the natural way, it would be worse not getting older :-)
