So there I was, in the city on a rainy day! I found a spot undercover to try my hand at a bit of quick snapping street photography style. I think my Olympus OM-D together with the 12-50mm lens coped quiet well, although I don't have much experience with this type of photography (all tips are most welcome). Switching the camera off in-between shots doesn't help, it's amazing what you miss when you have to switch back on every-time, people move so fast, especially when it's raining! Couldn't help smiling at the sunflower who didn't like getting wet below, it's never going to get taller like that :) Happy weekend, take care and stay safe.. P.s. some of the shots taken before the rain. P.p.s. big catch up today!
The sunflower's unexpected!
ReplyDeleteWhat a collection of humanity.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly did your best, Grace! What a nice variety.
ReplyDeleteLove the sunflower :)
You did good Grace. Love those kinds of images because you never know what you'll get. The sunflower is cute.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend!
Nice pictures of humanity as it presents itself on a rainy day down under. Love that shy sunflower.
ReplyDeleteLove the happy not-so-little flower!
ReplyDeleteYou could do a nice coffee table book with photos like these...I'd guess you've got enough to fill more than one book. If you do publish same, please let me know 'cause I'll buy it straight off!
ReplyDeleteYou did very well with your covert pics, Grace!
ReplyDeleteOh I like all of these. Terrific collection.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great variety of pictures and scenes of daily/rainy life.
ReplyDeleteI find umbrellas to be particularly interesting both to own and to photograph. I have several of my own and could easily buy more. I like the variety of styles that you posted.
ReplyDeleteJust love the mosaic.
ReplyDeleteI certainly didn't expect to see a cheerful sunflower - what a lovely splash of colour.
Enjoy your weekend
All the best Jan
Love all the different poses of the street people. Great in mosaic. And what an adorable sunflower.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to do some people watching Grace. I'm always amazed at the fact some people will wear short sleeves and shorts even on a cold and rainy day, while others seem to be dressed for winter! Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteExellent streetphotos Grace, I love to see all the different clothes people wear, go on with it.
ReplyDeleteHard to tell what the temps were, Grace. Some wear winter- others summer-style, crazy! Oh, I love brolly-time :-)
ReplyDeleteThese are great street shots. I think you did rather well. A couple of them make me think that I should taken some street shots of all the ladies in London with their knees peeking out of their slacks. I've of course, seen the trend of jeans with holes in them but it seems in London any kind of pants with holes in them are in style.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I loved your abandoned post! What sweeties.

ReplyDeleteFotos originais!!!
Bom fim de semana!
Beijinhos.✿゚ه
I love people watching and you did a fine job.
ReplyDeleteWhy would you switch it off between shots? Most camera batteries can hold a charge throughout day of shooting. At worst, keep a spare charged battery with you. (I like your collection.)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant captures all!!
ReplyDeleteInteresting, nice and fun posting.
ReplyDeleteA bit like "paparazzi" today, Grace?
Schöne Bilder von der Straße.Die Kamera ist spritzwassergeschützt nur Wassertropfen auf der Linse sollten nicht sein.
