Sometimes girls just want to have fun (I dare you!) After a frustrating kind of week a bit of silly is called for don't you think? Do you ever take a shot because even before downloading you can see the potential for a bit of fun? Suspended out into the big blue by a mere twig of a branch I knew that with the help of Picasa I could transform the Banksia from a symbolic Australian wildflower into a magically suspended Australian Christmas candle. I apologize and can't promise that things won't get worse :) it's the Federal elections on Saturday, I'm not sure how much worse it can get! Have a fab Friday, take care and stay safe.... Still, that's a very weird plant--kind of like a cross between a rhododendron and corn! :-)
ReplyDeleteWell... my preferred shot is the 2nd, you could add a little flame, would be also funny :-)
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteYou fooled me for a minute! I thought this was an Aussie thing. Phew!
ReplyDeleteLooks lite a bottlebrush which is usually shades of red. Love your prowess with Picassa.
ReplyDeleteBises,
Genie
Always fun to play around sometimes.
ReplyDeleteVery clever. I sat there staring at the shot trying to figure out if it was getting blown off the tree by wind or something else:)
ReplyDeleteWow, you did a great job making that little branch disappear entirely and I love the effect. I love to play around with photos. Sometimes if I don't have anything to do, I'll pick a few photos out of the files and just play with them to see what I can create. Every now and then, I get a masterpiece.
ReplyDeleteCareful now, you may start a new religion doing that stuff, people would come from all around the world to see this mysterious thing.
ReplyDeleteNice trick. Wish you a good w.e. dear Grace.

ReplyDelete-chuckle- Honestly Grace I can't decide which is the cleverer - your brilliant bit of silly with the image OR, the post's title! 'ave a good weekend!

ReplyDeleteLove when girls just wanna have fun! You're inspiring me to try out more playful shots, love it! (Also loved the YouTube clip - brought back memories of roller skating in a rink to this back in the 80s!:)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking you had special powers...or maybe my glass of wine too large !
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit. I will post pictures of my new home soon! Janey
Well, as we all know, girls just wanna have fun.
ReplyDeleteI heard the Conservative leader on our evening radio news today. He sounded a little scary.
Oh, I like this! We can all use a bit of whimsy, especially at the end of a long week that wasn't the greatest....
ReplyDeleteFun shot!
