What's that they say about Melbourne weather? Four seasons in one day! Since meeting (virtually speaking) fellow bloggers from around the world I've come to realize that the same could be said for many cities and is without doubt the case here in Perth. Never cancel an outdoor activity in the afternoon because it's raining in the morning et vise versa! As for the continuing saga re my kitchen, it seems I was a little hopeful (read naive) in thinking it would be completed
tout suite! It could be as long as three weeks before it's finished, c'est la vie! My Mum used to say 'patience is a virtue, virtue is a grace, Grace is a little girl who....' I'll leave the rest to your imagination :)) Have a good middle of the working week day, take care and stay safe.....
Beautiful pictures and i like that car very much.
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Joop
I like the first pic, with rain on the ground.. No "four seasons day" here, sky is blue all year long, if not it means it's raining!
ReplyDeleteThat car is lovely!
I wish you a lot of patience for the kitchen..

Ha, our weather report can hardly get the current conditions correct. I like the trees in the first photo, they kind of reach up.
ReplyDeleteI do love your pics for the day, Grace!! And, yes, that little car is perfect! I love it, too!! I always wonder if projects like your bathroom ever get finished on time??? I don't think so!! But I'm holding good thoughts!!
ReplyDeleteSmashing pics. What's with the artificial looking trees? My car!
ReplyDeleteYou've been missed, little Grace. Totally understandable. Hope your kitchen is an oasis of la vie dulce very soon.
Aloha
Two very different images, both very nice, Grace!
ReplyDeleteIn the first one I love the puddle and the reflections and in the second... well... with this car I would love to drive a lap...
We definitely can have 4 seasons in a day here which can include snow, rain, sleet, - everything!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with that kitchen, Grace.
Four seasons in one day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Car Photography.
Hugs and kisses.
Grace is a little girl who grew up to take cool photos to show Perth to the world! Love that car!
ReplyDeleteWhat a special trees, they look like up-side-down umbrella's. You could use some I see, no blue sky for a change :(. Well we still have ha,ha, sunshine every day, diner in the garden, we don't know what is happening here in september, this summer is endless. Maybe you should switch a country...:))
ReplyDeleteThat kitchen can become a never ending story, have patience.
Marianne
hope you didn't get a ticket parking there.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're enjoying lots of delicious nights out at good restaurants meantime:) Love those trees against those skies - the weather looks pretty temperamental indeed (yes, just like ours!)
ReplyDeleteGloomy feelings when it is grey and wet, then the sun comes out and all is well with the world, except don't sit on the grass, lest you rise with a very ummmm, well, it can cause arthritis.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a beautiful day. We had sun this morning....now we have rain....and now the mosquitoes! Love that car in the last photo!
ReplyDeleteYou get a new car, Grace to go with that new kitchen? Love that car.
ReplyDeleteQuite a contrast between the two shots, Grace!
ReplyDeleteWait. I want to hear the end of your mother's quote.
ReplyDeleteThat's is one awesome reflection.
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful -- repeat, wonderful -- photographs. I was amazed that you could renovate a kitchen as quickly as you thought. It always takes time, but, when done, will make you feel good.
ReplyDeleteFour seasons in one day? I thought you were referring to the dreadfully fluctuating English weather haha!

Wish we had the four seasons just for one day here... It's still very hot and fires continue everywhere. Another firefighter died yesterday. Way too sad.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, Glorious pictures! love its specially car.
ReplyDeletethe place looking amazing in the first picture.....
Ahh....such a contrast there! We have come down to Texas to make selections on the new house. 109 F the day we drove in. We were asking ourselves...Why are we building in TEXAS?
ReplyDeleteWhat a contrast!
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish we could get some of that rain! I really like that snazzy car in the second photo!
ReplyDeleteWe have a saying here in St. Louis: if you don't like the weather, stick around--it will change!
ReplyDeleteWe could use some of that rain right now, though....
Your mum is a dear...
ReplyDeleteLove the changes in weather and particularly the great reflections on the wet streets and sidewalks.
Bises,
Genie
What a car!!:)
ReplyDeleteLet us know if you got the chance to drive it.....
No four seasons here either. It's pretty mild in all four seasons here. The main change is the number of daylight hours. It looks like you live in a beautiful place, no matter what season it is. It sure seems like no home improvement job ever gets done as scheduled.
