Spotted yesterday while walking with Aimee down the West Coast road, he looked so small flying along with the wind in the vastness of the Indian Ocean......

A nice photo for today's theme. I didn't recognize the windsurfer the first time I look at the photo. Seems like he's enjoying windsurfing.
ReplyDeleteI have seen these wind kites pick people as high as 20 feet off the water...too much for me. Great shot, Grace.
ReplyDeleteAwesome picture Grace! Love it!
ReplyDeleteOh, how fun! I love to watch the wind surfers! Marvelous capture, Grace! Hope your week is going well!

ReplyDeleteLove the composition. This would work well in B&W. Isn't this paragliding? Since I an unwilling to hang in the wind 5 meters above the ocean, I may not be entitled to an opinion.
ReplyDeleteGreat action shot! The texture of the sea is amazing. Have great month and I hope all those fires go out soon.
ReplyDeletea familiar sight to me!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot! You are so right, he does look very tiny out there all by himself. He's a brave person. I could never do something like this. I'm not a deep water person at all.
ReplyDeleteWow, how beautiful, of course I would never wind surg but the picture is gorgeous. I would love to visit Australia but I'm afraid to fly so I will follow you and visit it virtually. Hello from a Sicilian in Rome.

Have you ever tried that? I might have when much younger, but I wouldn't do it today. I get my thrills in other, less dramatic ways. Great action photo. I forgot the theme. As usual. Oh well. Working on setting up a new computer. That's always so much fun! :-)
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Excellent how you have captured the texture of the wind on the sea.
