This group of young people arrived at the beach en masse and all dived into the water with great enthusiasm! It wasn't actually all that warm 25C so I'm guessing they weren't locals, maybe visiting from cooler climes, they were certainly enjoying themselves enormously, trying to pick the right waves to 'body surf' and ducking under the waves that were too big.....
They were lucky that they chose the morning for their swim, by later in the afternoon it had turned windy and cloudy, although the temperature didn't drop that much it would have been cooler on the beach.....Hope you have a great week.....!
je suis jaloux, cela donne envie de se jeter dans l'eau...tres belle serie
ReplyDeleteWishing I was one of them! Beautiful pictures Grace.
ReplyDeleteYes, am a bit jealous as it is neither winter nor autumn over here. Great pictures. Please have a good new week ahead.
ReplyDeleteTerrific captures, Grace, and I do LOVE the color of that water!! Beautiful beach! Hope you have a wonderful week!

La mer!!! Tu m'as fait venir l'envie de nager.
ReplyDeletePasse une belle semaine.
Oh my, that looks SO inviting... the sun and the waves!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I wish I was there! It was only 2˚C here today and windy (but sunny) and it felt really cold. Could use some of that warm 25˚C!!
ReplyDelete25C sounds like a good beach day to me! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a joyful scene! It would give me great pleasure to be able to dive into that beautiful sea!
ReplyDeleteJust pretending for a moment that I were a young buck, that would be a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteYou make those of us in the northern hemisphere envious. If all goes according to plan, on January 2 I'll have my traditional post of the Polar Bear Club water skiing in the Mississippi on New Year's Day. A completely different experience.
ReplyDeleteyes, we locals become quite adept at subtly potting visitors from cooler climes.
ReplyDeleteLocals wear a hoodie or something, visitors parade around in bathing suits as if it's SUMMER!
We feel the 'chill' of 70s breezy weather.

Looks like a better place than going to work. Have a great start to your week.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh....looks like summer!
ReplyDeleteThere is another connection between Costa Rica and Australia, besides the popularity of surfing in both places. The Chinese have just agreed to provide nearly $1 billion USD in financing to more than double the capacity of the main oil refinery in Costa Rica -- on the Caribbean coast. An Australian construction company will do the work.
ReplyDeleteNow why would I grrrr? I'm perfectly content with my grey sky and 7°, I'm going for a swim in the pond this afternoon! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat blue is to die for!
GRRRRR!!! Although I totally agree with Sam from Versailles above, I wont go for a swim today, not at 9 degrees.
ReplyDeleteSurf, Sun and Sea. Can't get much more Australian than that.
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy frolicking in the big summer waves.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week too.
I love Australia! Great post and very nice blog overall! I am now following :D
ReplyDeleteVintot from Philippines :)
It is incredible to see this from a winter country here. Great to be in an ocean like this now.
ReplyDeleteTakes me back to my youth when we lived in Los Angeles...I spent most summer days at the beach body surfing and working out on the gymnastics equipment and otherwise just having fun.
ReplyDeleteLovely series of shots - the water looks so beautiful and inviting! Nice waves, too. Not too big or too small!
Beautiful shots Mamma! You've captured such a happy summer vibe in these photos
ReplyDeleteThat's it. I hate you....
ReplyDelete:)
And yeah, at that temperature they must have been tourists :)))
ReplyDeleteWhich beach?
25C is hot from a British point of view- even in high summer!
ReplyDeleteChrissy at Manchester: a photo a day at Mancunian Wave
That water is absolutely gorgeous. Picture perfect.
ReplyDelete25°C davon können wir zurzeit nur träumen schöne Bilder vom Meer.

We're headed to the Caribbean next week and that's where we'll celebrate the holidays this year. Hoping it will look something like this. I don't need snow! :)
ReplyDeleteAfter a icy cold wind all weekend looking at your sunny beach makes me feel all warm wishing for summer ..
ReplyDeleteI like all the different kinds of blue of your ocean! What a palette!
ReplyDeleteWinter hasn't even started here and already I am longing for the beach from your photos! ;D
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of fun! I like that you captured a couple of the swimmers underwater and that you can still see them.
ReplyDeleteThe color of that water is absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYeah yeah.... rub it in - all the surf sun and fun - while we freeze out butts off over here ;-)
ReplyDeleteFabulous pics!
Beautiful blues and turquoises you have captured, Grace!
ReplyDeleteI envy you now! We have to survive the winter, yet to come, to get a similar shot here... :-)
ReplyDeleteis your water really that bluish aqua color? our shores tend towards a greenish hue and deep blue when out to sea
ReplyDeletewoww fantastic colours there !!
