High up in Kings Park is without doubt one of the best spots to view the city, top spot in the day and equally so at night just a lot harder to take that shot especially when you consistently forget to take a tripod :) I always enjoy adding the majestic lemon scented gum trees that line Fraser Avenue into the composition, they look amazing lit up after dark. Back into the daylight tomorrow, happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe..
A city scape such as that is not something I see on a regular basis. Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCities do look wonderful at night, though it's not easy to get such good shots as you've got here.
ReplyDeleteYou got some more great night shots, Grace!
ReplyDelete...they all are wonderful, but the first one is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteLovely night photos, especially your first one that is spectacular. Yes, those poor folks stopping traffic just have to stand there with a sign all day.
ReplyDeleteWow,they seems frames of a sci fi movie!! Great!ew:)
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteEven without that special scent (that we so miss!) your photos are spectacular. Yeah, we used to tote our tripods with us so often but with minimizing hand luggage sizing and restricting weight and such, they seldom got used anymore!
The sky is very crisp and clear; excellent for photos.
Hugs,
Mariette
Beautifully photographed.
ReplyDeleteThe gums look quite ghostly.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos Hrace, my favourite is the first one.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots again, Grace, thank you so much for sharing and making me dream along.
ReplyDeleteFantásticas estas fotos noturnas.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de uma boa semana.

I love nighttime skyline photos and these are stunning. The way those trees are lit is magical.
ReplyDeleteThat is brilliant, reminds me of the Lego bridge that was built
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that bridge!!!!! And the trees looking over the city.
ReplyDeleteGreat view, I always "forget" my tripod.
ReplyDeleteI love your choices in these shots especially the first
ReplyDeleteAnother vibrant feature in your wonderful city. A veritable visual feast.
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGentle hugs,

These are beautiful night shots. Not sure how you managed them without a tripod!
