A different view..

Applecross is a pretty suburb with it's river views over to the city, jacaranda tree lined streets, especially lovely at this time of the year. I wish I had also taken pics of the streets lined with plane trees, equally beautiful maybe even more so. A sprinkling of wonderful Art Deco treasures like the Tivoli Theatre and Applecross District Hall below, built in 1934 and still used today by the Tivoli Theatre Club of  WA  and just around the corner the Raffles Hotel which I have shown before. Art Deco and jacarandas.. nice :) Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe..

  10. The first time I ever saw jacaranda trees in bloom in Australia decades ago, I thought they were the prettiest sight I had ever seen. I still feel that way!

  13. You must know by now how much I love jacaranda trees. These are stunning as is that leaning tree in the first shot. It looks like it's reaching over to make sure the person on the bench has enough shade.
