Sorry for the possible earworm, I dare you to watch :) I couldn't believe my eyes on a walk along the shore and under the Canning Bridge in Applecross earlier this week. Only last week Tom put up photos of a shoe tree he had come across and Amy in New Zealand found a teapot tree, I know right, odd as! How surprised was I to find nailed onto the beautiful heritage listed jarrah, karri and wandoo pylons shoes of all descriptions. As far as I can find out it is a one man protest against the litter that is dumped into the Swan River.. well isn't that ironic 😉 Happy Friday, take care and stay safe..
...there are creative folks everywhere, thanks goodness!
ReplyDeleteA GREAT SPELL CASTER (DR. EMU) THAT HELP ME BRING BACK MY EX GIRLFRIEND.
DeleteAm so happy to testify about a great spell caster that helped me when all hope was lost for me to unite with my ex-girlfriend that I love so much. I had a girlfriend that love me so much but something terrible happen to our relationship one afternoon when her friend that was always trying to get to me was trying to force me to make love to her just because she was been jealous of her friend that i was dating and on the scene my girlfriend just walk in and she thought we had something special doing together, i tried to explain things to her that her friend always do this whenever she is not with me and i always refuse her but i never told her because i did not want the both of them to be enemies to each other but she never believed me. She broke up with me and I tried times without numbers to make her believe me but she never believed me until one day i heard about the DR. EMU and I emailed him and he replied to me so kindly and helped me get back my lovely relationship that was already gone for two months.

ReplyDeleteThat's odd!
ReplyDeleteNot seen that over here (so far). Odd, but not unpleasant.
ReplyDeleteIt is unfortunate that they have been nailed into the pylons which are heritage protected. Hope they don't cause lasting damage.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you found your shoe tree
ReplyDeleteSo, that's where my other shoe went. Thanks for the smile.
ReplyDeleteoh that is so cool! good find Grace, loving all the shoes.
ReplyDeleteQuite a find. Sad though.
ReplyDeleteFunny and odd at the same time. Aren't the shoes going to be a litter problem too eventually if they disintegrate...
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteCertain things are hard to believe that they ever got trashed...
What a collection of Swan River spoils.
Hugs,
Mariette
Interesting.
ReplyDeleteStay Safe and Coffee is on
If it's a protest, why hide under a bridge? Weird.
ReplyDeleteWhat a strange way to protest, who would throw his shoes in the sea or a river??
ReplyDeleteVery nice find
ReplyDeleteI didn´t know the video, luckily this never happened to me!
ReplyDeleteHe makes a point with those shoes, but what if they escape back into the water...
First of all, I love that song. It was great to see the video. As for the shoes, I'm not sure that his point has been made very well. I think a sculpture using the trash that is found would make a bigger point.
ReplyDeleteA fun protest.
ReplyDeleteThere is a thong tree near the wharf at Echucha.
ReplyDeleteWOW! ...
ReplyDeleteNow there's something I've never seen before!
