'The act of twisting or altering something out of it's true, natural or original state, the act of distorting a distortion of the facts'..
The old street mirror here looks like it has been through a tough time.. distorting the high rise, palm tree and streetscape into something slightly unworldly. Almost like an analogy, a reflection of the state of affairs in the world right now.. or it could just be a beat up old mirror :) Happy weekend, take care and stay safe..

...distorted is fine with me, but our distorted president isn't.
ReplyDeleteMind Melting Weekend - Good Eye Perth
ReplyDeleteCheers
Reminds me of Salvador Dali.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a meltdown in the second image.
ReplyDeleteI like that one.
ReplyDeleteI love both the photo and the analogy. So true!! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWould've made an excellent album cover in 1968. I enjoyed those days rather more than the unreality of the present.
ReplyDeleteHow delightfully interesting!!
ReplyDeleteGood catch, Grace!
ReplyDeleteInteresante entrada.
ReplyDeleteMe gjustás mucho estas imágenes.
Dearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteGreat subject and even better photos to it!

Mariette
The image in the mirror is how I see life at times. A good find by you.
ReplyDeleteThe distortions in the mirror just make it more interesting. This a a fine addition to Jame's site.
ReplyDeleteYou nailed it. A perfect reflection of the state of our world today.
ReplyDeleteLooks like paint can lid.
ReplyDeleteStay Safe and Coffee is on

Mirrors are fun.
ReplyDeleteWell done, Grace, from the art as well from the now...
ReplyDeleteI think you are on to something. That's a perfect analogy. I was just thinking that our president distorts facts all the time but on second thought, he just flat out lies. Great eye on these photos.
ReplyDeleteMakes interesting images :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
brilliant analogy, Grace.
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections Grace :)
ReplyDeleteRather cool images. Love the colors in the first one - so vibrant.
ReplyDeleteThe red on top of the 2nd one I thought at first was some sort of hang glider in the reflection.
ReplyDeleteVery cool, just another way to look at things!
ReplyDeleteA GREAT SPELL CASTER (DR. EMU) THAT HELP ME BRING BACK MY EX GIRLFRIEND.
ReplyDeleteAm so happy to testify about a great spell caster that helped me when all hope was lost for me to unite with my ex-girlfriend that I love so much. I had a girlfriend that love me so much but something terrible happen to our relationship one afternoon when her friend that was always trying to get to me was trying to force me to make love to her just because she was been jealous of her friend that i was dating and on the scene my girlfriend just walk in and she thought we had something special doing together, i tried to explain things to her that her friend always do this whenever she is not with me and i always refuse her but i never told her because i did not want the both of them to be enemies to each other but she never believed me. She broke up with me and I tried times without numbers to make her believe me but she never believed me until one day i heard about the DR. EMU and I emailed him and he replied to me so kindly and helped me get back my lovely relationship that was already gone for two months.
