'Rather flat, a little bit of up and down'..



Not how I would describe the Burns Beach Coastal Walk! 7.4km of too many challenging ups and downs.. 'it's in the sand dunes after all'.. not my words :) It didn't help battling the gale force winds on the day we did this walk, the pram the ladies in the shot above are pushing was for the dog when it got tired, I've never been so envious 😉 All said and done though it is a beautiful coastal walk, the gorse bushes on either side alive with nesting blue wrens, didn't see one that day, they were sensibly staying indoors :) Two more walks to go!     Dearest Grace, I would pay a lot of money just to be there right now and do beautiful walks by the see! But even millions will not be as powerful due to this pandemic Ughhh besides I don't have millions anyway HAHA) But these views are just gorgeous and you know what I love the most? Not much people! I am quite the extrovert but I very much enjoy solitude especially when I entered my late twenties and more that I stepped in to the 30-ish age.

    This trail looks perfect for bicycles, and 7.4K is an easy ride. The hills just make it interesting.

    I find the seaside is always good for the soul. Trying to stay positive over here. The numbers are certainly improving and we have everything crossed restrictions will be eased on September 13. It would be nice to be able to have a couple of people over for dinner and travel to our favourite beach locations.
