I love reflections where the line between real and reflected are hard to define. Spotted the broken branch on one of our walks last week. Was so fed up with myself.. mesmerised by the sight of a family of ducks, mum, dad and twelve ducklings swimming through the reflection I forgot to click, when I came to my senses only one little straggler was left, life is full of missed opportunities :) Have a super weekend, take care and stay safe..
The straggler does make the shot.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful even without the ducklings.
ReplyDeletebe well... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Wonderful reflections and a very cute little straggler.
ReplyDelete...they are the best!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots. In the first one, it's hard to tell where the branch stops and the reflection starts!
ReplyDeleteA nice reflection it is.
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely shots anyway, Grace!
ReplyDeleteVerdadeiras esculturas naturais.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

Great reflections.
ReplyDeleteFantastic reflections, Grace. The little straggler is framed perfectly, so cute.
ReplyDeleteYou lived it, you shared it, sometimes that's enough ♥️
ReplyDeleteSometimes we get so caught up in the moment we forget to document it. What you did take is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAt times it is better to enjoy and savour the experience.
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteOh my, isn't that the truth that we all carry a long list of missed opportunities.
We never can go back in time...
Love the perfect reflection though!
Hugs and happy weekend.
Mariette
fantastic shots
ReplyDeleteAwww, very, very beautiful, Grace!
ReplyDeleteNature is an artist and you have the talent to capture it perfectly! 🧡
Sweet that the little duckling waited for you to make an excellend photo!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflections Grace. Wow twelve ducklings, a lot of work for one single mother, lol.
ReplyDeleteLovely reflection shot. There's something quite balletic about it. Duckling Lake, perhaps!
ReplyDeleteHello Grace! How are you? Did you miss me?
ReplyDeleteHow was your winter? I have seen that it has snowed in Sydney ... also in Perth?
Monday I will come back to the blog!
See you then! Have a nice weekend! 🤗
The reflections are beautiful. I love the second one where the little bird got into the act.
ReplyDeletePerfect reflection and I love your header photo as well.
ReplyDeleteI love the branch reflection in the blue water !
ReplyDeleteC'est tranquille par ici. J'aime surtout le bleu du ciel reflété dans l'eau. Cette branche est comme une forme abstraite ...,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflection. I missed a shot yesterday too. We were circling the lake on a one lane dirt road. I was admiring a Jeep sitting on the ledge above the lake...My Tom was already passed It before I spoke up and I didn’t have the nerve to ask him to back up.
ReplyDeleteThose are the types of branches that pied shags like to sit on and rest in the sunshine.
ReplyDeleteIt is like the little fella is enclosed in a heart.
ReplyDeleteHello Grace,
ReplyDeleteNice pictures.
Always special with a nice reflection in the water. Funny with that duckling.
Well done!!
Greetings, Marco
Good Figure!
