February in Perth is a huge month for festivals. I feel I've neglected the Chinese New Year celebrations that have been happening every day beginning the 5th Feb. Will make up for it on Sunday at the Lunar New Year Lantern Festival in Northbridge. Today a colourful tribute to acknowledge the birthday of the Jade Emperor. Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. Today may be a day in bed for me.. damn flu 😪
...a colorful celebration.
ReplyDeleteColourful indeed!
ReplyDeleteLove what you've done with the photo Grace. Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable - Totally Dynamic - Many Thanx
ReplyDeleteCheers
That is a wonderful piece of art! The colors are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteTake Care of yourself, G! And thanks for my lions! Had almost my fill in Honolulu last week!
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon, Grace.
ReplyDeleteNo sign of them here!! Get better quickly and do not let that cough return!!!!! Take are Diane
ReplyDeleteNice and colourful. Get the rest you need to feel better, Grace.
ReplyDeleteGrace, get well soon. Seems there is lots of flu going around here as well. Hard to get excited about dragons when you are feeling ill.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better - flu in the summer is the pits! We have a snow day today - all the schools and universities are closed except for the downtown U of T campus. And we actually haven't had much snow - the forecasters seemed to have overreacted so far. Be well dear!
ReplyDeleteOh poor you, take care and get better soon :(
ReplyDeleteTerrific colours in those Chinese Lion costumes. Gung hay fat choy to you! Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteI agree with RedPat above, snow day here but really hardly any snow, a definite overreaction on the part of the weatheries!
I don't know why, but summer colds or flu always seem worse than when they are caught in the winter. Rest well and recover quickly.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, Grace. A clear proof it's not the camera but the person who does the magic!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pic. Take care.Greetings
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifully composed image. The purple dragon is lovely, I don't think I have seen one that colour before.
ReplyDeleteDressing up as a dragon and cavorting in the streets is not something that had occurred to me as a way of celebrating a birthday! Hope you're soon feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThose costumes are breathtaking. Feel better, Grace!
