Street art.. on the street! One of the cool new floor murals in Maylands commissioned by the City of Bayswater. Travel the world by artist ill Withers most appropriately on the pavement in front of Flight Centre on Eighth Avenue. You can see where I am..
How about you? Where are you off to next? Shocking weather has made it impossible for many in the Northern Hemisphere to travel, holiday plans cancelled or postponed. 35C here in Perth yesterday and today, I truly wish I could send some sunshine your way! It's Labour Day long weekend here in WA, time to get into the garden and show it exactly who's in charge :) Happy Monday, take care and stay safe..
I like these. I hope they last after thousands of people shuffle their feet over them! :)
ReplyDeleteThese are great! A very quick way to travel from one continent to the next.
ReplyDelete...from my perspective, you are a long ways away!
ReplyDeleteAn appropriate mural for a travel agency.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your gardening Grace. I've just arrived from dropping off J at the airport, so will have a lie in Monday morning.
We’ve escaped the bad weather but the wind is high which is normal really. Heat would be nice!
ReplyDeleteClever! I especially like that they show 'You are Here'. Lots of bright sunshine here too. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThat's very well done!

Excellent and well done. You're only a hop, skip and jump away. :)
ReplyDeleteNice one! Labour Day here is the unofficial end of summer for us - it is the first Monday in September.
ReplyDeleteNice sidewalk art work. Sunny, Windy, and 6C here Grace. I do not miss that hot weather.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness I like street art like that, especially when they engage thought. We have a very fun bunny thing going on in our Target store there are bunny foot prints in random places about the store, even going up a mirror or two! It's like see where the bunny has been! I wonder if we'll catch him somewhere too?!
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing the art in your area.
ReplyDeleteVery fun street art!!! You always find interesting art in your neck of the woods!!!

ReplyDeletewow amazing
ReplyDeleteIt would be hard to miss that map Grace. No plans to travel at the moment but I am sure that will change. Wouldn't it be nice to throw a dart in a map and then book a ticket.
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if the ever so trendy Maylands needs more promotion by the local council. Perhaps there is an up and coming new area that needs promotion.
ReplyDeleteGreat murals, Grace!
ReplyDeleteThe sun is here - and we´re in the plus, too! 3C!
Enjoy your gardening, I can see my seeds working, also.
Fine street art, Grace. Nice to know that you are there ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnywhere without snow is fine with me.
ReplyDeleteWell better weather has arrived, we are climbing up to higher temperatures and sunshine. Enjoy your heat, don't worry, we will survive. I like your mural on the pavement, very artistic done.
