It's official, the weather in Perth has no idea how to conform to seasonal norms! The week ahead reads like this.. yesterday (when I took these shots) forecast 'sunny 4 to 21C, today thunderstorms, will let you know :) Wednesday thunderstorms clearing, Thursday
no chance of a shower, Friday it's all over! Yeh I know, I'll be whingeing when it rains everyday for a week.. or will I? The view from half way up the lighthouse at Hillarys Boat Harbour.. there was a very strong northerly wind blowing causing a bit of 'movement' up there.. didn't linger :) Hope your week has started well, happy Tuesday, take care...
I find lighthouses fascinating. This one's different from some I've seen, but stands out well against those skies.

Summer solstice in 5 days!
The seasons start on the sun's position here so we have 5 days until summer. Sounds like the government is involved if they start a season on the first of a month.

ReplyDeleteI understand your wish to get the heck out of there. But I'm not sure I'd have gone up there in the first place. It did, however, give you a chance to get a nice photograph. That sky looks yummy!

ReplyDeleteWinter shminter, Perthgirl - I love it when I look at the weather report HERE and it says "current temp 11", and underneath "feels like 7". The 7 is usually an exaggeration.
