Another 'where am I' for you today! I can tell you it was one of the most fascinating trips that I've ever made.. if it was a bit safer (clue) I'd go back in a flash I'm sure I missed much.. but as my fear of flying is increasing every day, from now on it's Sydney or Paris pour moi :) Did make me smile when I saw the McDonald's sign, is there anywhere in this world that they are not! My computer has been making me crazy the last few days.. slow beyond patience, might be time for the junk heap! Catch up with everyone today.. happy Tuesday, take care.. oh ok there's another clue :)

What fantastic shots. I did laugh out loud when I saw those golden arches. Too amazing! I have been absent from blogging over the weekend and thought I had missed something :). Hope you can get your computer to speed up. I had to take all my photos off the desktop and move them to a external hard drive...much better now!
ReplyDeleteMacDodald's is everywhere, also in a boat :) Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteAnd nice to see you, you have been in Egypt....
I have no idea where you have been - looking forward to the answer, Grace!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm with LOL, I, too, laughed out loud when I saw the golden arches!! Amazing indeed!! Terrific shots as always, Grace!! Hope your week is off to a great start! Enjoy!!
ReplyDeletewow , I see you are travelling ! well done Grace ... and .. yes,
ReplyDeleteMd Donald and Coca Cola are everywhere with some other brands..
saluti
P.S. I am finding blogger really slow lately and today you are the only blog showing up on my dashboard.
ReplyDeleteI hope to visit Egypt and the pyramids one day. Oh, and you are such a poser Grace!
ReplyDeleteI never made it to Egypt and I doubt they will have stability there for a long time. I will just have to enjoy pictures of it! :)
ReplyDeleteMcDhow. Sheesh!
ReplyDeleteI didn't notice the M sign at first sight, but you must have been in Egypt for sure a place I have never been and probably never will be. The political situation is not so good there at the moment, so I just watch the pictures instead of going there.
ReplyDeleteThe pharaohs are turning over in their pyramids...McDonalds indeed. Put sand in the junk food! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd Maccas isn´t even yummy no more (here they use cheap cheese, not even cheddar!).
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, those are open wounds for me... have you been inside the pyramid, Grace? I could still bite my butt for listening to my ex and riding a camel instead!
Is that Alice Springs...?
ReplyDeleteLook at you! I recognized the first photo, I guess from an old movie or something. Have a wonderful time of it!
ReplyDeleteYou are fortunate that you went there when you did. No one would be wanting to go there now and won't be for a long time.
ReplyDeleteI don't see going to Egypt anytime soon.... and I have such a fascination with the country.
ReplyDeleteThe lateen rigged dhow gives the location away even without the pyramid in the background in the second shot. I suspect the material of that McD sign was more important in repairing the sail than the corporate graphic.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Grace. I love flying -- just not commercially. Run Linux and your PC will be fast for almost ever.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this fun experience of a place I shall never visit. . . . . (Honolulu of Paris for moi osee!)
ReplyDeleteALOHA from Honolulu

A quick trip to Egypt? I'd love to go there some day but, with current politics as they are, it might be a while.
ReplyDeleteMcDonalds are everywhere! Not a good time to visit Egypt, I think!
ReplyDeleteThey are everywhere.
ReplyDeleteI have never made it to Egypt Grace. I have a desire to visit as I have read many of the intriguing theories about the Pyramids. Perhaps one day. So many places to see.
ReplyDeleteIs it a reservoir in Yorkshire? No, probably not.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to more "clues".
On a slightly sacrilegious note, "and McDonalds was there" might scan nicely into The Star Spangled Banner...
ReplyDeleteBrilliant shots.
ReplyDeleteMickey D's on the Nile...just takes the mystery and magic out of the Land of the Pharaohs, doesn't it?
ReplyDeletea mcdonalds sail boat haha...i'm jealous, i've always wanted to see these!
ReplyDeleteHey! I have been there. Egypt and Russia are both on my "Been there, glad I did, but don't need to go back" list.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. It was worth the risks! (Certainly in retrospect.)
ReplyDeleteOh, well know I know that have fast food, I'm going! Someday...
ReplyDeleteNice photos of the boat, the pyramid and of you!
Egypt -you- and the pyramid(s). Looks nice.
ReplyDeleteIt used to be on my wish list. Not so sure any more.
