Salsa's Fresh Mex Grill in the Carillon City Arcade together with local radio station 92.9 put out the
beat the heat challenge for a chance to win $5000 (see link)...not for the faint hearted, literally, or those with respiratory problems, sacre bleu how hot can it be! I like it hot, on a scale of one to ten maybe a 7/8, what about you where would you be on that scale? Hope you're having a fab weekend, it's still raining here in Perth, nice! Take care.....

PS...when I saw that first shot...my immediate thought was "must be getting ready for a seance!!!"

ReplyDeleteYou know as I get older I tend to eat slower and slower. I'll leave this to the young ones. I used to be able to do a 7 or 8 on the hot scale but not any more. I think I'm on the 5 or 6 scale now. Just had Mexican last night and it was extra good.

ReplyDeleteI think these types of contests can be dangerous. Like Sharon, I can't eat as hot as when I was younger. I wonder if that happens to people who were brought up with spicy food as kids.
