Whenever I get a little grrrrr! there are two things guaranteed to calm the nerves.. one is to get out and work in my garden, the other is to take a walk along by the beach and remind myself how lucky I am to live here in Perth beside one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world and that there can be days in winter when the sky looks like this and the Indian Ocean so blue.. can you see the lighthouse way out there! Happy Friday, take care..... Click here to view all participants of Skywatch Friday
Ah! Feel the relaxation!
ReplyDeleteAloha
Amazing shots Grace...... very well done.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Holland, Joop
You are right to feel lucky! I have the little water fall in the woods that is kind of the same thing.
ReplyDeleteOh, those blues are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYou do indeed live in a beautiful place!! I miss living close to the water and being able to walk along the coast, so I do understand! Such terrific captures, Grace! Thanks for sharing, they're the next best thing to going for a walk on the beach myself!! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, nothing is better that these two things!
ReplyDeleteI'd say, I miss those blue water...
ReplyDeleteA walk along that shore would ease all my blues! I don't envy you your trip to Ikea in yesterday's post - it is something I always put off as long as possible. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOoooooh the sea, the sea.....oooooooh
ReplyDeleteWhen someone is in tension it is best to walk on the beach, watch the seagulls and see the blue sky ... Beautiful Pictures Indian Ocean.
ReplyDeleteHugs and kisses.
That is a lovely view.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos! Lucky you-you can live there by a Ocean/Sea!fantastic!

ReplyDeleteWalking along the water is always very good to moderate the moods. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI'm envious! Lovely shots, Grace!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful light ..... And the blue of the ocean is incredible
ReplyDeleteYou are very fortunate to have such blues.
ReplyDeleteMore like 'into the blue'. Beautiful shots.
ReplyDeleteThe colors of the water are amazing.
ReplyDeleteThe ocean is remarkably and appealingly blue, blue, BLUE.
ReplyDelete(Hope you are now de-stressed.)
Love the blues!!
ReplyDeleteLooks a lot better than the Mississippi River! The Indian Ocean is an alien concept to those of us here in the center of North America.
ReplyDeleteReally is a beautiful stretch of coastline. Looks a little like the CA coast 50 years or so ago (before all the subdivisions and people!).
ReplyDeleteLook at the blue of that ocean!! Lucky girl........have great weekend Grace.
ReplyDeletex
definitely not our winter... I believe "we" have to grrrr.. for 2 reasons:
ReplyDeletea) I don't leave close to the see
b) our winter is really much colder than Australian's...
shall we move there ?
have a nice week end.. ciao
I agree, the seashore is the best place to go when you need to feel better.
ReplyDeleteI wish you a nice week-end, dear Gracie, full of long walks and quiet moments (as much as possible, considering the kitchen problem...)
Well a walk with those views would lift my spirits too. I know how stressful reno's can be while you're living in the house with the dust and debris! But think how nice it will be once all done!
ReplyDeleteMAgnificent set of images, this blue is very special!
ReplyDeleteThe ocean has so wonderful energy!

ReplyDeleteThe Indian Ocean is so incredible blue! Beautiful photos, Grace!
ReplyDeleteThat would make me feel better too. Heck, I feel better just looking at your photos.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you completely about the therapeutic effects of a walk along the beach.
ReplyDeleteMarvellous ocean! Arianna
ReplyDeleteHi, back on the blogosphere...
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I did not get to see the sea this year, so I am pleased to see your photos of the blue waves coming onto the shore. Have a nice weekend
I've never been to your city though I have been to Australia several times. It is very beautiful along the coastline as shown by your photos.
ReplyDeletebeautiful color!
ReplyDeleteWow. The Indian Ocean! It didn't even occur to me you're on the Indian Ocean. Im not geographically knowledgeable below the equator.
ReplyDeleteRec'd a phone call tonight from my sons. They'll be in Perth by mid -September!
