This is the 'Streets of San Francisco' view of the walk along Burns Beach, taken yesterday. I really enjoyed doing this walk in the run up to the City to Surf so we have decided to make it a regular happening, it definitely is a challenge, but then all the most worthwhile things usually are.....Oh and Malyss (
benchesonmyway) and VP (
abunchofbenches) if you draw the picture in close, there's a bench right on the top of the hill that for 'some reason' made me think of you.....!! I bet that bench gets used a lot.....
Beautiful spot.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to go running in that spot! What a view!
ReplyDeleteThe walk looks very challenging. Great place for a daily "constitution."
ReplyDeleteit's a real mess here in vermont. how wonderful to imagine walking that path of yours instead of looking at blowing dust from the drying mud, dunes of dirt deposited by the receding water, jagged teeth of tarmac from roads swept away.
ReplyDeleteLove coming here!

I would love walking in this great location. The view is just fantastic. It reminds me so much of the walks I took when I was in California earlier this month.

I love that path. The eye is drawn in and one just wants to walk it and walk it. Adored your kookaburra yesterday - birds that scream 'Australia' to me. Makes me homesick...
ReplyDeletethe long and winding road it was,
ReplyDeletelove both of the shots. ^0^
