Made it in ten..

Photos that it :) It has been a long time since I've viewed the city from out on the river. We went on a Swan River cruise last weekend to celebrate my SIL's birthday. Can you believe the previous week the skies were super blue with temps in the high 30C's, on the cruise day it was still warm but with cloudy patches, the water choppy at times. The two hour Captain Cook Summer Lunch Time Cruise left from Pier 3, around and under the Elizabeth Quay bridge into the harbour and out again along the river past the Optus Stadium and under the Matagarup Bridge.. all the while enjoying a smorgasbord lunch with chilled wine and fab views.. not too shabby a way to celebrate a birthday :) Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe..

  6. Dearest Grace,
All in all it looks like you had a fabulous lunch cruise and captured some great city views, seen from the Swan river.

  7. Sounds wonderful. For a river harbour, the water certainly looks choppy.

  8. What beautiful views from your river cruise. This event looks so appealing since we are in the middle of ice and snow here in the north. Your bridge shots are wonderful.

  9. A fun interlude nevertheless! I have been to the obelisk marking Captain Cooks end in Kealakekua and received my mail at Capt. Cook Hawaii post office.❤️

    Great views.
Your Corinna still sits here by my PC, Australia still has code orange, I just wonder why? Seems you all went back to a normal life?
