Photos that it :) It has been a long time since I've viewed the city from out on the river. We went on a Swan River cruise last weekend to celebrate my SIL's birthday. Can you believe the previous week the skies were super blue with temps in the high 30C's, on the cruise day it was still warm but with cloudy patches, the water choppy at times. The two hour Captain Cook Summer Lunch Time Cruise left from Pier 3, around and under the Elizabeth Quay bridge into the harbour and out again along the river past the Optus Stadium and under the Matagarup Bridge.. all the while enjoying a smorgasbord lunch with chilled wine and fab views.. not too shabby a way to celebrate a birthday :) Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe..
...clouds add drama to the sky!

ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful day and enjoyable cruise.
ReplyDelete30s here, also. 30s F!
Quite a day to be on the water.
ReplyDeleteI love the views of the city, very pretty.
ReplyDeleteGreat views! Too bad there were no blue skies - I thought that you always had blue skies, Grace! ;-)
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteAll in all it looks like you had a fabulous lunch cruise and captured some great city views, seen from the Swan river.
Hugs,
Mariette
Sounds wonderful. For a river harbour, the water certainly looks choppy.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful views from your river cruise. This event looks so appealing since we are in the middle of ice and snow here in the north. Your bridge shots are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteA fun interlude nevertheless! I have been to the obelisk marking Captain Cooks end in Kealakekua and received my mail at Capt. Cook Hawaii post office.❤️
ReplyDeleteAmazing views. Awesome clicks.
ReplyDeleteAlways nice to have a river cruise to see our city from another angle.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you back Grace.
Lovely pic's

Lovely photo's of your cruise!
ReplyDeleteA great way indeed to celebrate, Grace!
ReplyDeleteGreat views.
Your Corinna still sits here by my PC, Australia still has code orange, I just wonder why? Seems you all went back to a normal life?
Happy birthday to your SIL. It has indeed been hot and warm here, a perfect summer.
ReplyDeleteHello Grace,
ReplyDeleteVery, very nice pictures you show in this post.
Great to see this fantastic skyline.
