Inevitable! I turn my back for a minute and the city goes all Christmassy :) Thankfully Aimee was there to capture some of the highlights. Instead of the usual Christmas parade this year the Christmas Lights Trail can be followed each night right up until 25th December. Here just a few of the photos Aimee captured on Friday night during the first night debut. Hoping to take our Sydney famille to see the lights when they arrive for Christmas. How was your weekend? Mine was super hectic.. but in a good way! Happy Monday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. merci beaucoup Aimee for allowing me to use your photos!
Great Christmas photos of the city Grace. I have yet to visit it one of these days.
ReplyDeleteMy weekend has been fine - at least I haven't been required to dress up as a Christmas present, or hang around upside down doing the splits!
ReplyDeleteWe have so little here as yet to remind us that Christmas is on its way. I have seen one small tree next to Santa's house and that is it. Looks like lots of fun there though. Have a good day Diane
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics.
ReplyDeleteAm wishing you, Aimee, and your clan a magical happy season!
ReplyDeleteWhat great fun! You Perthians do know how to put together a good time. And Aimee knows how to capture the frolic with her camera. Love that first shot - the reindeer look startled like they just noticed that Santa has fallen from the sleigh. "What do we now?" asks Rudolph. Nobody answers. Reindeer eyes can see the approaching Christmas Apocalypse!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots by Aimee! The contortionist is my favourite of these.
ReplyDelete...Christmas already, let not rush it.
ReplyDeleteI can see you passed your talent onto Aimee. Christmassy indeed. Before we realize it Christmas will be upon us and then it'll be 2018!
ReplyDeleteOur Santa Claus Parade was today. It was cold and windy for the wee kiddies!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this post.
ReplyDeleteChristmas gets ever nearer ...
Wonderful shots by Aimee.
Hope your weekend was good, have a fabulous new week ahead.
All the best Jan
Christmas is coming! Arianna
ReplyDeleteI like the way you do Christmas. (I've always thought the whole "White Christmas" bit was overrated. It has nothing to do with the real meaning of Christmas anyway.)
ReplyDeleteChristmas, I see is well and on its way. Aimee took some nice pics. Santa arrives here on the firetruck the 3rd of Dec.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week ahead Grace.
Lovely Christmas images, but I am unsure of the symbolism with pretty, young women as Christmas packages?
ReplyDeleteOne of those presents was a guy - I don't think there was anything dodgy there symbolism-wise 😁
DeleteColour and movement is what it is all about, and there seems to be plenty.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos of this event. I've noticed the same thing here. Christmas decorations are up everywhere I go!
ReplyDeleteThe colours are gorgeous! Great photos, Aimee.
ReplyDeleteChristmas already in Perth? I thought that only happened over here.
ReplyDeleteChristmas has appeared here also Grace. Nice pictures Aimee. I especially like the first one.
ReplyDeleteDriving through our town last evening I noticed a Christmas tree in someone's home already. A bit early for me :). The photos are beautiful, love all the colours.
ReplyDeleteQuite some impressive event. And astonishing astonished-looking reindeer.
ReplyDeleteOh, Christmas Moods!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Grace. Christmas trees have been set up, but are still naked over here.
ReplyDeleteOh it's only the middle of november and |I'm not ready for the deluge of Christmassy things! i was in a toy shop at the weekend and the Christmas music really annoyed me. I think I must be turning into a proper grinch.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures of a Christmas parade in the summer!
Very nice Christmas images !
ReplyDeleteA fun series of shots. Bravo, Aimee! (I spent my weekend making Christmas cards. 'Tis the season!)
ReplyDeleteAh, this is delightful, and sets my artistic nature on fire!
