If the glass is clean and the window big enough sometimes it's hard to tell! One of the best things about modern architecture is the reflective opportunities they offer. Here workers coming out of the 40 storey skyscraper Exchange Plaza at midday in search of sustenance :) reflected in the window of the relatively new Mary Street Bakery on St. Georges Terrace.. must admit I didn't realize this was a taxi rank before.. learn something everyday! Happy Sunday, take care and stay safe..
I like your perspective with both shots.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome city and shots!
ReplyDeleteNeat building. One thing I should have done before leaving Florida is photograph the one office building that could not be seen. All glass that reflected all the trees around it and it looked like a forest until up close.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic reflection you captured. I had no idea it was a reflection until I read your comments. Then I realized this taxis were on the wrong side of the road. (Of course, they look perfectly natural to me. :-)
ReplyDeleteWait! This is a reflection? Amazing. I'm not sure how you did it. Really? It's beautiful. I'm impressed.
ReplyDelete...something that is lacking along the backroads!
ReplyDeleteGreat, clear reflections. They are so clear it took me a minute to see they were reflections. I also like the large, glass buildings for their reflections.
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful reflection, Grace! I would have never guessed!
ReplyDeleteHow tenuous is our grip on reality. The leading office worker appears to not really need more lunch time sustenance, but then he who casts the first stone.....
ReplyDeleteWow, you're creating magic now with your reflections. Nice!
ReplyDeleteI would never have guessed it was a reflection! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt looks hot there, at least the shadows provide some respite. We've had a warm week as well, am looking forward to Summer.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, the modern buildings give us great reflections opportunities.
ReplyDeleteFabulous As Always But I Loved That Glass Piece In Your Twilight Hawkers Markets.. Post. So Cool How Its Under Lights And Wish I Could Have Time Lapse That Setting. Have A Wonderful Week & Thanx For Being You.
ReplyDeleteCheers
These reflections are so good I'm still trying to puzzle out the perspective.
ReplyDeleteAwesome shot, Grace! Took me a while :-)
ReplyDeleteI do love your reflections!
