From Neon to Negative..



 Perth artist Drew Straker well known for his incroyable neon glow technique.. 'white lines under a transparent colour' seen here, is also master of the negative, above. White only on black to give an almost negative effect. Excellent choice here, the black and white suits the grey, slightly shabby wall with rusty window grills of the Chatsworth Deli, now a florist, on Beaufort Street perfectly.. whereas a colourful mural could have looked out of place don't you think?     Okay, in this case, I love the black and white! It is superb, fantastic, and whatever that word Mary Poppins used! Didn't realize it was a mural at first. You're really good! :)

    That's really gorgeous. It has the look of a line drawing. And it's especially effective with the tiniest of reflections on the window grill. You really have cool murals in your part of the world!

    Grace, you found and photographed a great mural. Not until I saw your second photo did I see that most of that was a drawing which is perfect for the location.
