Below Zero!

Only kidding, I can't remember the last time we had a below zero in Perth, but..la pluie! At last the rain is here, for a few days anyway. Yesterday afternoon sitting in San Churro sipping hot chocolate looking out to the skating rink on the amphitheater at Hillarys Boat Harbour. Part of the Below Zero Winter Festival and a super fun event for the kids on school holiday break. The shot below, Saturday morning driving home on the freeway hardly able to see ahead.. not so much fun :) Happy Monday, take care and stay safe...

  3. When I saw your post title, I rushed to see what Below Zero meant in Perth. Had a laugh! We also haven't had a very cold winter here in the mountains. I loved seeing the youngsters. But worried for your safety with that rain on the windshield. Have a great day. Jo

  4. We have had +13C here in Stavanger today, plus rain and wind.
From time to time we get sunshine and temperatures slightly over +20C
So your images could have been taken here up in the north of Europe.
Happy new week! You are lucky to live a place with so much sunshine most of the year :-)

  6. Much too cold for us!!! Anything under 20C is cold for us. Our blood has never thickened up since we left Africa!!! Keep warm and keep dry Diane

  14. Every winter here it gets below zero...I've seen even -20 or -28 but usual the wind is coming stright out of the north. Which mean it to cold to snow.

  16. I think that's the kind of below zero most people wouldn't mind too much. But your rain shot is scary -- great shot but scary. No fun to drive in those conditions.

  17. That is serious rain! Suppose it did get below zero, you would all be able to skate on the streets ;)

  21. Apart from the low temps I´m kinda sad this didn´t happen in Dec/Jan, Grace. The first shot really looks uncomfy.
