It was chilly in the city yesterday.. meeting Aimee for lunch in The Lodge @ 140 was very different from our usual lunch venues.. a fun and cosy warm idea during the City of Perth Winter Arts Season (1st June - 31st August) It's not often you see blankets and beanies here. Another cold and rainy day tomorrow, although I'm guessing many of you would not agree that 8 to a 17C high actually is cold :) Happy Friday, take care and stay safe... P.s. you can almost hear Aimee thinking 'enough Mum' :)
The place looks inviting.
ReplyDeleteDown below -30, then we're talking cold.
I have plans to visit The Lodge too. Aimee must be feeling the cold with a beanie and gloves. I don't think I ever wore gloves in Perth.
ReplyDeleteAloha Aimee! Your winter temps are very Bay Area!
ReplyDeleteThat temperature here is a lovely summer day, PDP. Great colours!
ReplyDeleteBrrrr...that sounds cold to me! This looks like the perfect place to warm up. I heard on the news this morning that we might get some rain this weekend so fingers crossed. Hi Aimee!
ReplyDeleteThe fire in the fireplace makes it look very cozy. Love the photo of the adult playing a board game with the child. All children need this kind of attention!
ReplyDelete17C sounds like a chilly Summer day in Sweden. It was around 20C today I think, but I saw a few cool kids out skateboarding and they were dressed like your redhead.
ReplyDeleteIt is +28˚C here at 2pm. 18˚C would be a cool summer day but no one would wear gloves or a beanie or a sweater! ;-))
ReplyDeleteHa ha I think anything under 20 C is cold!! Great photos. Keep warm and bonne weekend. Diane
ReplyDelete17 degrees? It'll be snowing any day soon.
ReplyDeleteThe lodge looks like a very nice place. It reminds me of ski resorts with the fireplace glowing. It's currently 17C and doesn't feel cold at all. Shari and I had a chuckle at your temps.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and have a wonderful Friday, Grace.
Wimps!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a fun venue. LOVE seeing Aimee! Her hair is similar to mine :)
ReplyDeleteHaha! 8C. :-)
ReplyDelete...I must say that your idea of cold and mine are quite different.
ReplyDeleteLove the Lodge. Aimee looks quite warm.
ReplyDeleteA nice fire is burning yet everyone is so heavily rugged up like it is minus 5 degrees.
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, the fire is fake...
DeleteA beautiful lodge! Aimee appears to be a good sport, and a cute photo!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics
ReplyDeleteSo is the lodge unheated and chilly...or are those low(ish) temperatures everyone's excuse to pull out winter gear?
ReplyDeleteLooking at all the warm clothes it could be well below zero in Perth ;))
ReplyDeleteCozy place!
Um belo lugar para descontrair.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

That looks very cosy with a fire. Here we have a humid heat of 26C! :)
ReplyDeleteHey - that looks like the kind of place I could spend some time in: a few beers, good company...I'm there already!
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing at the gloves and hats and scarves..... :-)
ReplyDelete28C today, Grace, I went with "the boys" to Maccas, we sat outside in the shade and there was a grown man in the sun with a thick woolen beany... Having seen that I think beany and glovies in 17C isn´t that crazy anymore ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnd we are in summer :D this place is not different from the ones on our mountains! Arianna
ReplyDeleteSuch a cosy, colourful place. Love the lounges round the dining area.
ReplyDeleteLove that red hair!
ReplyDeleteLooks cosy, and the model looks good as always :-) Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteWow, looks like just the place to gather and warm yourself. Lovely and quaint.
ReplyDeleteShe is practically screaming, "Leave me alone, Ma."
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely shot of Aimee!
