'Let Your Colours Show'..

Driving along Main Street in Osborn Park it was an unexpected delight to come across the mural here by super talented Perth artist  Brenton See whose work you have seen here many times. I say unexpected because Osborn Park is not an area well known for street art, something the Main St. Co-Op hope to rectify in the future. What a brilliant start! The artist states Let Your Colours Show was "inspired by the spontaneity of childhood. A lot of kids embrace animals and bright colours and we lose that as adults. It is about tying people back to their younger years, about the simple things in life and the colourful world that we all once saw". If you get a minute check out the link to his Facebook page above and see more of his fabulous work around the city and country towns. Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe...

  8. We all could use colour in our worlds rather than black and white. Love this one, PDP. Thank you.

  10. I like the mural and the message. How funny is that both of us posted a Brenton See mural. We didn't get a storm in our area on Monday, didn't even rain much. The worst day was Saturday.

  14. Wow, great mural. I wonder how hard it would be to paint a mural. Hard to paint up close and then have to keep stepping back to see if it looks right.

  18. It's eye catching but I find it a bit uncomfortable - a bit too much digital artificial reality.
