When you see cows on the city streets it's time for coffee! Isn't it funny how habits develop without you realizing it.. we seem to head straight for Bocelli's Espresso in Forrest Place, or the Shingle Inn on St. Georges Terrace.. both excellent people watching spots...
Oh yeh, I almost forgot about the cows :) there are 41 of them scattered around Perth during November during the Perth Cow Parade.. expect more in-situ cow sightings over the next few weeks..
Government House below, was looking pretty spiffy under the big blue sky...
This wee building below is the Old Courthouse Law Museum, the oldest building in the CBD. We didn't go in, but next time if there are any school groups visiting I'm tagging on :)
A line-up of suits.. it must be lunch time...
Do I really have to say where we are below :) taking this shot was so much easier with a wide angle lens. Hope that you are having a good weekend, happy Sunday, take care and stay safe..
Always expect the unexpected!
ReplyDeleteBelos pormenores do dia a dia na cidade, gostei daquele edifício do antigo tribunal.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.
Andarilhar
The architecture is lovely, and those cows are unexpected!
ReplyDeleteThis is a super series...we have horses, you have cows. Guess who has the most B.S.? You win!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I just couldn't help myself. Love that sculpture in the last shot!
Sunny sun sun! Yes, suits do look out of place in the tropics. Nicer aloha shirts are business attire in Honolulu. What fun to see an urban cow going for coffee :-)
ReplyDeleteI love those cows. At first when I saw it, I thought it was real. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful day that was, Grace! Looking forward to seeing more cows!
ReplyDeleteThe cows are funny and what a clever headline. Government House is very grand inside.
ReplyDeleteNice cows and very good shots! Arianna
ReplyDeleteA nice variety of photos, Grace! I look forward to see more cows :)
ReplyDeleteI love the cow--and the last photo, of course!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful places. Cows in the street...reminds me of Sheridan, Montana.
ReplyDeleteI love those cows. Interestingly, and coincidentally, we were passed on the autoroute by one yesterday and she was pushing a car along at 130 kph! (Well, maybe she was being towed).
ReplyDeleteThere are one or two old cows around this way also I can tell thee!
ReplyDeleteIt looks all so sunny suddenly overthere, those cows are wonderful to see them in the most unexpected places.
ReplyDeleteTill December 11th, Grace, so I hope to catch a cow or two, too :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, the sky is so beautifully blue!
Great photos Grace. Never been to the Law museum either...
ReplyDeleteLove the cows and the architecture. A great mix!
ReplyDeleteWhen I worked in Chicago back in the late 90's, there was a city-wide exhibit of artist decorated cows the same size as the one you've shown. It was so much fun finding them all. Government House is a pretty spectacular building.
ReplyDeleteA nice walk. The Government House is looking good in that light.
ReplyDeleteQuite a variety of scenes.
