Who could resist that smile.. not we three ladies at the weekend 'home grown market' in Forrest Place on Sunday past! My sister, myself and Aimee came away each with 'un gran plato de paella' which I was sure I wouldn't be able to finish..but somehow did :) and naturally before leaving the market the morning would be less than complete without 'une crêpe Nutella'.. parfait!
Yes Perth 'we're getting to know you'..excellent short video.....
Santa's eyes lit up when he saw Aimee, there was no way he was passing by without a photo.. phew! thank goodness it wasn't a clown, she would have freaked out :) Did I mention that from 1st December we are officially in summer.. there are so many markets going on in and around Perth during this season, will have to choose the one's that interest me the most. I hope that you're having a good week, hard to believe it's on the wind down already, have a good Thursday, take care.....
It's a lovely post .....nice done.
ReplyDeletegreetings, Joop
Mmmm. Paella! Good thing it's almost lunch time here.
ReplyDeleteThe girls are adorable with Santa, for sure a beautiful Christmas Postcard! :)
ReplyDeleteThe young man smiling is cute! ;) in French I could say "beau gosse"! ...and for sure, I LOVE paella.I also love that mural and bike!
bisous
Léia
Santa is a clever man!
ReplyDeleteThat first shot has me feeling hungry!
ReplyDeleteYummm!!! Oh! And the paella looks good too!!!
ReplyDeletePaella? what paella? I only see this smile..... :o)
ReplyDeleteOh, yummmm indeed!!! And good food, too!! What fun captures for the day, Grace!! The time does fly by, doesn't it!!!
ReplyDeleteGotta love those markets !
ReplyDeleteSanta in the summer? I hadn't even thought about it, that just sounds wrong but I guess you are used to it. That guy has to be hot. It was warm last night and actually about 10 degrees above freezing, so nice.
ReplyDeleteThe poor man must be sweating! Did he stick to Aimée? :-) She looks so happy!
ReplyDeleteNow that is red hair!
ReplyDeleteHappy SUMMER to you!
ReplyDeleteLooks nice and perhaps a bit warm for Santa.

Paella and Nutella crepes!! You've name two of my very favorite things. Throw in a few banana slices on the Nutella crepe and you've found my weak spot. It's a good thing Aimee dressed in red so she would match Santa and his helper!
ReplyDeleteHey fun time then though you can keep the Paella not keen on anything with sea food in
ReplyDeleteYou have enjoyed yourselves! Nice shots. Kisses from Italy.
ReplyDeleteI had to click on the first photo to carefully examine the paella.
ReplyDeleteThe food looks tasty but I do love the Perth advertisement. They used a nice shot.
ReplyDeleteI love it, would've gorged myself on the paella and then some! The bottom shot is utterly adorable and sweet:))
ReplyDeleteI particularly kike the thrid photo. A lot of us could say that about our cities.
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised Santa was in his element - Aimee's hair is SO red it almost hurts the eyes!! But that's a good thing ...
ReplyDeleteThe festive season has begun by the look of all the smiles in your photos Grace.
ReplyDeleteAimee is just dressed to match the season! Great photos Grace.
ReplyDeleteAimee looks lovely! Everyone looks happy too. Super shots, Grace. (John is much, much improved. The oddest think is that his back is better than ever. Strange. His neck is sore and ribs...but he is getting there. Hope your back is ok too :).)
ReplyDeleteMmm, I love paella and your father Christmas looks quite different from our St. Nicolas.
ReplyDeleteoh yes, great smile and i love the photo of the girls with santa...seems so weird to have christmas during summer though!
ReplyDeleteThe paella looks toooo gooood!
ReplyDeleteLove also the last shot.
Mmm...that looks good!
ReplyDeleteNutella in Australia too...maybe you'll don't believe it but I don't like Nutella. Good to see Christmas time in summer! Arianna
