Night & Day.....
Another of the artworks in the 140 ART project this one at the entrance to the foyer of 140 William St. (Aimee's building) by talented WA artist Sara Winfield, if you are interested what makes these artists 'tick' you might enjoy this short video .. I took the above shot on Friday evening and below on a trip to the city last week, très différent in daylight oui! It's not often these days anywhere in the world that you see an unattended brown bag on the streets.. someone wasn't paying attention! Perth is hot this weekend, activity and weather wise. Me..I'm just doing my best to keep cool :) Happy Sunday, take care..... Many marvelous weekend reflections.here.....

ReplyDeleteI prefer it by night!

Between the two, I rather prefer the night shot.
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteYes, exquisite reflections, I like those drawings on glass, photos of delicious!
ReplyDeleteYou are getting good with the low light photos.
ReplyDeleteBeautifull, I love murals. Great you have found this.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
It's great to see the arts getting in on the action. The work you show here is fantastic !
ReplyDeleteVery colourful, I think these are fabulous fronts for buildings.
ReplyDeleteBut do tell Grace, did you peek in the bag! I'll be disappointed if you weren't tre curieux!! ;)
I like this piece a lot, Grace! Enjoy the heat.
ReplyDeleteIt's a bit creepy. I don't mind the night view.
ReplyDeleteKeeping up the riot theme! For some reason, I prefer the daylight shot!
ReplyDeleteVery colorful and unique artwork. An unattended brown or any color bag in any city here in the USA would bring the bomb squad closing the building and surrounding areas.
ReplyDeleteMarvelous artwork!
ReplyDeleteFabulous shots and such interesting artworks.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and following my blog. Love yours too, and I'm following now. Looking forward to your posts!
ReplyDeleteArtwork on the window is a nice idea, and it looks great in the night shot. The big picture shown, though, is not my cappuccino.
ReplyDeleteAimee has a building?? I find the day pic a bit spooky ... whereas the night one (to me) is full of life and colour! Does the artwork come down at the end of the project??
ReplyDeleteIt looks so creative ! Thanks for this inspiring sharing.
ReplyDeleteAwesome lights and reflections!
ReplyDeleteOh my!!! I like the night time lighting so much better!!! Interesting project!!!
ReplyDeleteInteresting piece. I like the night shot. It has a nice glow.
ReplyDeleteYou have really nice art in Perth. This door is triumphant!
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a scary visage Grace. Looks a bit like me on a Sunday morning.
ReplyDeleteLove it.
ReplyDeleteThe color, shapes and light tie it all together. Very nice!
