It's probably not a good idea for someone with my horreur of flying to sit by the window in a plane, but I figured if it was going to be my last click of the camera it might as well be something as beautiful as the sun going down (I know right, dramatic to the max haha!!) Ten minutes later I was fast asleep with the help of a little white pill..not good you might be thinking...but so much better than me unnerving everyone in close proximity declaring, 'we're going down, we're going down' especially as we hadn't even taken off yet.....!! Happy Skywatch Friday.....
I flew to Spain with a friend who has a phobia of heights/flying. He told me that he always had a few drinks before to cool the nerves and within ten minutes he was sound asleep...

ReplyDeleteI was once flying home from London and there was a huge delay after we were seated on the plane. The pilots were out looking at something on the bottom of the wing and then someone came along with duct tape and put a piece of it on the wing and we took off. I watched that wing for the next 7 hours in horror. Aren't we nuts?!?

ReplyDeleteMy favorite place for taking photos, a window seat... Used to work for 5 different airlines, so I have severl thousands of photos. Have to scan them paper photos one day.
