Hot, hot, hot.....!!
I took this shot a few weeks ago as we were walking along the Burns Beach track when the temperatures were a little more 'civilized' than they were yesterday....37C phew!! When things heat up in Perth the many beautiful white sandy beaches are where most folk head to cool off and find some relief. I was thinking how great it would be if we could trade a few days here and there, not to be greedy just a few lovely hot days for you guys on the other side of the world in the middle of winter, you'd like that wouldn't you...and vice versa, some fresh cool days for us...oh heavens (as Joe Hevron used to say at every opportunity), two hot days and I've gone 'troppo' already.....!! Keep cool... or warm and have a great weekend.....

ReplyDeleteWhat a joy for the sense of sight.
ReplyDeletePlease have a good Friday you all.
daily athens photo
Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSeeing that beach and the ocean is "love at first sight!" Lovely photo, Grace of Perth
ReplyDeleteGreat photo, you can feel that ultraviolet radiation pouring out of it!
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous shade of blue framed by nearly white sand, makes a very pleasing photo. Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteI am always amazed at the colors of water. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWell Grace, it is going to be +13˚C here tomorrow and sunny and we are all thrilled - normal is +5. But I could handle a couple or 3 days of +30˚C if I was at the beach. In February when it is around -20˚C here you could post this lovely pic again!!
ReplyDeleteWell it's a freakishly balmy 20 here in Kansas, where we're visiting my wife's family. No ocean, though, just prairie.
ReplyDeleteWonderful color. It would be great to walk along the beach.
ReplyDeleteSend us over some that good weather. We've just had rain, rain, rain for the past week.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're not sending it east Grace - 37C is a bit much after our mild Spring.
ReplyDeleteSuperbe !

Madame est cruelle... :-)) This is like a dream! It's grey here, foggy, the sky is hanging low as if you could touch it, it's polluted and now I want a bath!!! Beautiful shot. Bon weekend !
ReplyDeleteI wanna be there.....
ReplyDeleteA dreamlike place, wonderful photo Grace.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend you too.
oo yes send us a bit of that warmth over - just looking does cheer one up a bit
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely wonderful- I must get to the western side of Oz one day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful image of the sea, inspires,
ReplyDeleteHave a happy weekend.
a hug.
Yes, to change for a brief moment would be wonderful. To see a bit sunshine would be helpful, it is cloudy an rainy here.
ReplyDeletei'm all for your suggestion of occasionally trading weather.
ReplyDeleteBright blue and hot weather, not for us now...
ReplyDeleteI am positively sure that I would LOVE living there right now even tho our present temperatures are uncharacteristic for this time of year! The blues in the photo are spectacular!
ReplyDeletej'enlève mes pulls et j'arrive .........
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to imagine it's summer somewhere else. :) The blues in this shot are just fantastic. So many different shades and hues. I love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely blues and such a contrast to the rainy greys current here in the San Francisco Bay Area!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blues! I think that there are many who would go for the "swap." Our winters are mild with outdoor activities year-round. However, I would trade our hot days of August with someone!
ReplyDeleteBises,
Genie

It's always so hard for me to realize that you all are marching into summer while we are bundling up. We still have mild temps here in B'ham and should be grateful for that. Soon enough, it will be too cold to go for photo walks like I'm doing today with a former photo. student.

I am comforted to see this picture with a beautiful blue sky and sea, in my country have started the winter rains that caused flooding and unfortunately the victims !!!!!!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful picture that resembles the beaches of northeastern Brazil. The various shades of blue are stunning.

So very bright and beautiful! We still haven't had days like this yet on my Mornington Peninsula! Just one day reached 30C late in the afternoon! Right now we are back to rain and cool with more of the same expected all week!
ReplyDeleteLooks gorgeous! Wish I was there... a very chilly wind blowing up here today!
